Mealing

Well, i just made a server "Mealing MTA 0.1 server!" and i must say MTA 0.1 is great Only one other player joined however he said MTA 0.4 wouldn't work for him so he used MTA 0.1.. Anyways, if anyone still has this old piece of decent mod are you up for a game? *edit* I just had another player come in asking how to play, he didn't realise that MTA 0.4.1 is out and must have downloaded it from a different site.

well, they've not left GTA3.. But Vice city is more popular and in my opinion better.

mta 0.4 works fine with sp2 for me.. so i'm sure as hell MTA blue would work for sp2 with no problems

I just read all the stuff about MTA Blue and i think it's bloody amazing.. However, since it's going to be 100% perfect aiming, etc.. does that mean it would be possible to have a co-operative game with Humans vs Computers? *edit* One more thing, have you just ditched GTA3?

when i had my old 56k modem i got it going at 30kb/sec at one point.. mainly because i was downloading from a server only a few miles from where i live

well if you have a decent PC and good connection i don't think that would be needed.. i have a rubbish PC however, so i could use the patch

If all else fails just download a trial version of Partition Magic 8 (just search on google) and format your drive.. If you don't have a windows recovery disk then don't use it for gods sakes!

don't do the program scan on gta3.exe, otherwise it'll make it freeze.. which is particularly evil

For ASE just do the following: 1) Load ASE and hitt F2 2) Click on games Tab, Multi Theft Auto then do an autosearch 3) It should find the MTA 0.4 .exe file, click on it once and click OK 4) On the left click on "Other" on the Multi Theft Auto Tab Sorted... However i'm not sure about mtaservers.com

yeah! when more then 3 players are in a game the game becomes extremely slow and unplayable and i'm forced to quit and find a server with 1 person in it. i got 512k DSL so it shouldn't be THAT bad.. WinXP, 1.4ghz Intel Pentium IV..

according to my PC, the client takes up more mem and CPU then the actuall game Surely there must be some crap you can cut out so it runs smoother such as the pointless character selection..

my only gripe is that it runs extremely slow! mta 0.3 ran at a good rate but 0.4 is unplayable because it runs far too slow.. The character selection takes for ever so i ended up being a mexican because i don't want to wait ages just to move to where some other guy to respawn.. i got a 1.4ghz PC with a pentium 4 processer so it shouldn't be that slow for me really o.0 *edit* This is worse then 0.3! it's unplayable!

A few minutes before i made this topic, i was playing MTA (as you do) and after killing about 4 people in a row, i get falsely accussed of cheating. Everyone piles on me, i keep dying, i can't play due to dying alot and those who appear to be cheating from what i can see get away with it completely!! This person who was driving on water never got flamed at all Sorry about the poor quality and the ranting 0.o I just feel it's a bit unfair, otherwise MTA is an amazing mod, some players just spoil it. *edit* The players (not all, but some) are too fecking lazy to read these forums.. they explain a lot of things.

just a 5 minute job, nothing special
