  1. Both of them are worth to check (especially GTA3's SSV)
  2. Well thats an improvement An AV company who actually listens Symantec actually listened too, when I reported a similar problem to them I've changed the thread's name to something more useful btw.
  3. Depends on, if the community wants it or not. If there will be a need for it, then who knows...
  4. I am calm I guess fun I've no idea on who they've voted, but without a doubt, this is getting out of control.
  5. Wanna see something interesting? This poll is ridiculous though, it might be reliable somewhere else, but not in THIS community

Hope to see ya again someday Locked
  7. Well, good luck and have fun I'd recommend Aeron's cgi:irc, or GTANet's irc applet.
  8. It was a matter of time when the gang like that shows up. Good luck anyway
  9. The site you've posted above contains a cracked client. Don't even try posting it again.
  10. That probably WON'T help much, if any at all. The only thing that matters on your side is the connection usage. Closing any p2p/browsers/other inet programs might help (if you're running them while playing). If it won't help, then you can't do much to change it, apart from getting a better internet connection
  11. Well, the admin interface for the Race Mod in MTA:SA is pretty much finished now. I have implemented a few nice new admin features, which are listed below: - Ability to mute players (only works in the chat box at present). - Ability to freeze players. This means that they stop dead where ever they are (even if in mid air) and are unable to move until they are unfrozen. - Ability for admins to start new races without having to use the voting system. This can be done from Remote Admin, Console or RCON. These are a few of the features that i've included. As IJs mentioned in a previous blog post, a console input system has now been implemented, so you can do any rcon command directly from the server. I have been working all over the mod over the last few weeks, but I think the Admin side is pretty much finished now (aside from a few bugs here and there). Here is a screenshot of the admin client in its current state: Aeron has also been making his usual MTA:mA Addon for this, although it is not really necessary at this point it is always nice to have a choice of client to use Oli
  12. 2 years ago it was.. 0.2.2 ? aww.. whatever
  13. Probably because some error occured within mta, or gta itself. I'd recommend you reinstalling mta, and NOT installing 'error reporter' this time, because it's useless at the moment.
  14. We've just released another internal beta version (14) to our QA team that fixes about 20 known issues and includes a few tweaks to the voice chat system. Since beta 13, we've not had any new crashes reported in race itself, though we've fixed a few crashes in the editor with this release. We decided to release this much sooner than we've recently been releasing betas because we wanted to see if the crash fixes worked and because we're getting closer to a releaseable version. Yet again, can I please ask you not to ask when we'll be releasing - we honestly don't know. A bug might appear tommorrow that takes 2 weeks to fix, its impossible to tell.
  15. Sadly, I'm only enforcing the rules End of offtopic.
  16. Rules are pretty clear, aren't they? Stop with the spamming/arguing where it is NOT needed.
  17. A: Not really. It's just the thing that posting here doesn't affect postcounts Q: True?
  18. We've just released beta 13 to our quality assurance team (QA); so far, the unluckiness of its release number appears not to have affected its quality and nobody has managed to crash it. This beta release fixed 20 known issues and we've had reports of people playing for an hour and a half or more without any crashes, and as it hasn't been out for much longer than that, we're pretty happy with that! So, what’s left to do? Well, we've got quite a big list of bugs - thankfully, almost all are small bugs. We do have one frustrating bug that causes some graphical corruption on some graphics cards (we think, at this stage we're not 100% sure). We know the cause of it, but we're not sure quite how to fix it yet. We've also got quite a few minor bugs to fix, we're going to be going through these and deciding which have to be fixed before release 1, and which can wait. In an ideal world, we'd fix them all first, but we know you all want to get your sweaty paws on MTA:SA sooner rather than later (plus we're really looking forward to seeing what you think of it!). Anyway, we're really pleased with how beta 13 is looking, we've got our fingers crossed that our wonderful QA team don't find us any more bugs to fix! Ed
