    what wrong in my config?

MTU size is certainly wrong - maximum value is 1500. Put it back to 1264 if it's not a lan server; if it is a lan server put 1500.
  2. We are aware of this - proper support for Unicode characters will be added in some future release. It's a major task sadly, so we could really use some coding help with it, from those who are interested especially.
  3. Does the same thing occur if you host the server on your pc and join it (eg. by using an option for that in menu)? Also, are you using latest MTASA version (1.0.3 as of now) ?
  4. It's probably not recent enough. You need to update the library, and if no updates are available within the current distribution, you'll have to update it altogether. https://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/vi ... 6&forum=38

    MTA Error

If by old version you mean Racemod 1.1.2 (1.1.1) or DP2, then sorry, but we no longer provide support for them. Just install the latest version - MTASA 1.0.3, it should provide you with all the gameplay experience you need. Even if you are just into racing, you can just stick to Race-only servers. You'll be as good as you were with the old version, to say the least (you'll certainly find it better than the old version due to improvements which had been made in the whole mod and the race gamemode, while still preserving its core gameplay).

    MTA Error

Any more details? MTA version you're trying to run? Your OS? PC specs? Your GTASA version? Do you have any mods installed? Have you installed latest DirectX updates? Have you tried reinstalling GTASA and/or MTASA? Does single player work at all?
  7. Ever since we expanded our news and media coverage to communities like Twitter, YouTube, Steam Community and ModDB, we have been working hard in order to make MTA more popular and suitable for every GTASA fan out there. With the recently started ModDB Mod of the Year 2009 Awards, we think this could be a great way for us to gain more publicity, and in result, more players. If you like our mod, you can show us your support by nominating MTA:SA for this year's awards. Simply click on the banner below, then click on the Vote for mod button in our mod's page at ModDB. We certainly have strong competition going in the modding world out there, but with a bit of luck we may all get MTA the popularity it deserves. That said, we would like to wish you happy holidays. Have a good one and enjoy this video.

    Bandwidth?

It depends on how many players are on the server, and what resources are used. Bandwidth is also utilised for client-side files download.

    Norbius non bucketus.
  11. Such resolution is not supported by the GTASA itself. Some changes have been made however, so it might be possible to use it in the next MTASA version (arc's commit). Keep in mind that it might be buggy though.
  12. As far as I know, you don't need to put the password in a hashed form when adding it manually - it will be converted automatically on server start. Also, tootao123, see that link I've posted above. Once you do all steps listed there, you're set.
  13. Did you copy the acl.xml file to mods/deathmatch ? And if you changed the location of acl.xml in server config, are you sure it points to it correctly ? Also, if the file is there and set properly, are you sure there are no xml syntax problems in that file?
  14. Wrong section. However this should help you: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Upg ... m_MTA:Race
  15. It's explained here: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Ser ... nistrators
  16. Like I've said, you need to use search in Debian's package repository - http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages . You need to search for that required component within the contents of packages, then install its 32bit compatibility version for amd64. If you encounter any further missing libraries, repeat this step for them, and you'll eventually get the server working.
  17. You need to add it manually to the list.
  18. Try this package then - http://packages.debian.org/lenny/lib32z1
  19. Your system is probably lacking this package: http://packages.debian.org/lenny/zlib1g You need to install it (# apt-get install zlib1g ). If you'll be lacking more libraries, just check for packages containing them here ( http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages ) and install them one by one.
  20. Looks fine, however I would recommend using Debian Lenny (5.0) rather than Debian Etch (4.0). It can be updated manually afterwards though, so it's not a big problem.
  21. You also need to be logged in (using the 'login' command).
  22. Depends on the hosting company... a company, which is not able to suit to customer's needs properly will eventually fall. I would just ask them about it.

    Low performance.

DirectX shouldn't be an issue, really. I'd say that your graphics card is a culprit here. Try what madis suggested - aside from anti-aliasing try reducing visual quality level to low.
  24. Maybe you could consider making a suggestion report on mantis about it, as it seems like a good idea. I have seen it solved like that in recent Warsow's versions. Or, if bored enough, make a patch yourself which adds it
