you are all wrong , you can run it off your webhost if it supports running executable sand "keeping them running" and if they support port forwarding to your server IP (which is higly unlikely BTW.) . You should be able to upload the Linux server to them via sll and executing it. Please ask your webhost for details.

yeah , why dont we use some scaled down version of WMP and stream the audio. This should be optional tho. Then the GTAVC default radio stations would be turned off.

Maybe the people who host the server can put up a little Apache HTTP server too with a 20KB speed limit or something so it doesnt slows the MTA server. Anyways , Whats wrong with Tripod? I dont know much about memory hacking , but wouldnt you have to modify the .exe to get thwo MP3 folders? IF so , then it is umpossible , because Rockstar said you cant modify the exe pitty....

With MTA Blue's mod support , it is going to be easy to set up a radio station , put it ins omeones MP3 folder , let him host a server , and all people joining the server would be able to download the files fromt ehs ervers mp3 folder or an off server location (like a tripod site). You would only need to keep it small , because I dont want to wait for 100MB to download before I can play

EDIT: I misread , the filesize limit is 60KB! sorry... try hosting your avatar offsite , I can maybe host a few avatars. Just PM me if anyone needs to have his/her avatar / signature hosted (less then 60KB!)

I think it would need some serious filtering / aprovement then. You need to let the MTA team aprove your mod or post it before you can put it online or something. And one person would be assigned to making an GTALC multiplayer mod for MTA.
