That's a funny idea I prefer to boot ppl who pause it is maybe the most inconsiderate thing someone can do besides cheating. When you attack someone and they clearly pause to wait you out it is sickening. I ask them and if they say they are crashed fine but if they start moving again they are kicked. I would like to see the "on the cell phone" amimation pop up when someone presses T to talk. If that is possible. The cigarette idea is funny but like you said it encourages bad habit.

I will look at this video tonight but I know what is on it a guy not losing a whole lot of health when he is shot from Deathb's point of view. I am not interested in entering this flamebate but I want to know what someone from the MTA team thinks of this clip, esp MrBump. If this is what cheating looks like then I will know what to look for next time. I have to make judgement calls all of the time about ppl who are not obviously cheating. It is a hard call to make. It's easy when ppl go from Red to Green repeatedly, flies a firetruck or drives thru a wall. If someone slightly modded thier weapons damage file the change would be so subtle that it would give them an edge instead of the GodMode cheaters that are obvious. I see this type of thing all of the time. I unload on ppl that don't lose health I am about to kick them and then someone kills them so even thou I am 90% convinced they cheat I have to consider it lag and let them stay. I don't remember ever thinking Mac was a cheater and I don't think he would cheat but I wasn't there so I will not judge except to agree with Ferg that unless he is a proven cheater he is not a cheater. For ppl who haven't seen it. mac is on the ground with 2 bars left as he is getting up and trying to shoot his M60 he is hit by a direct stubbyshot with no damage (This is easily explainable to me as a shooting glitch since he was attempting to shoot the M60 from Deathb's pov) He fires a shot then the second stubby shot finishs him. This whole argument was about what happened prior to this Fraps I think and there is nothing in this clip that backs this up

I didn't see a topic on this. I assume whatever problem that had the forum down this weekend is continueing. I can't navigate this forum at all. I really have to want to read a thread to wait for it to load if it doesn't timeout. I was in General and I saw a new Quotes and Blasta post. lol great point I don't think there is a legal way to kill someone that is noob. If you are dead then he wasn't a noob. The robber batting finish after a shotty knockdown isn't so easy either. I prefer the knockdown with the stubby and then chainsaw.

I disagree New ppl can start new gangs but it's better if they hang out alone for a little while so they know what they are getting into more and more ppl play this game every day Besides if I took your advice there wouldn't be a KFC What I would say is if you start a gang stick with it and don't ally. Keep active and choose your members wisely

Deathb meant to quote this so it was readable but.... That is a annoying glitch/exploit but if I am killing someone thru a wall I do use it. A certain KFC member who will go unnamed was a pioneer of this technique and it's main exponant. Worse yet in my opinion is the same technique used with the spaz... That is a total newb move and worse than a minigun if you are in range wait... Nothing was as bad as miniguns

Well aside from the cheater that jumped in at the end this was a good discussion. It's a few months old now so I am bumping this for the ppl who joined this year and missed it. the MTA team has done a great job of getting rid of the minigun and teargas I haven't seen it in the new version. Everyone in this thread was talking about version 0.2.2. However most of what was said is still relevant. Right now we have 41 votes and 17 no votes. That means a majority thinks that some weapon is a noob weapon. This poll assumes that all cheating is noobish and a No vote says that. A vote for any legal weapon is a Yes vote on the Noob weapons in MTA question.

Good Idea I did one before but it was the opposite question I think it will become a similar discussion once one person says the spas and then next calls him a noob. my thread was called Noob Weapons????

I have the ingame working and I spent the weekend using fake names and hanging out in various official servers. I banned scores of cheaters I hope they stay away but if they come back they might see that new guy who is killing like he has been here before. When they throw on the cheat they will feel a boot up thier ass. Thanks Mr.Bump One guy got hit by me ran behind a wall and hit his health regen (Zof...something) He must not know that health shows thru walls... then I shot him and watching him regen health infront of me 5 times while he used his flamethrower on me. Later... Two cheaters were holding down the Cherry Popper. I let them kill me a bunch of times before I finally booted them. The ppl in the server seemed pleased. Oh and a few speedhacks like Bender and Brainiac to name a few. If you are in a server and see a speedhack please hit F12 while they zip past that will pause the screen long enough for you to see the name. Plus, you can check your screenie to make sure. Then say it in the chat because you might not know if the admin is in your server or reading the echo or server log. Others might be just reading the echo and they can tell the admin too. Incase you were around I was Baraka on saturday and JohnnyCage and Shang Tsung on sunday.

lol, Freakin' XCrispy is teaching the enemy now... Mollies and nades are useful but the king of guns is the Stubby close second is the M60. The Spas is dominating but ppl use it wrong and stand still too long so they die easier than they should, me included. So it would be first but in game the stubby is used more. A nice other weapon to have is the Tec because you can run with it and it drains health nice. The best thing thou is that above the tec is the M60 and below it is the stubby so it fits in the rotation well. If you have a bunch of ammo and those three guns you are set.

I think I do remember one other cheater now that I think of it. Death..somthing. He was flying a truck no I think it was a helicopter and he never liked it when he ran out of ammo please ban him Of course I mean legal on this forum. Do they mind if we post the IPs

I have banned a boat load of cheats this weekend. From the offiials and the Partyserver Brainiac or some variation of that but he changes his ip and thinks he is clever for doing it. Bender is a speedhack a bunch more but I can't remember the names right now... Should I be posting the IPs? I don't know if that cool or legal to do

No many more ppl on the Party server can do this but there are also other servers that can add this script. Plus, I will have the !stats working on Party. I will probably ask Nutz to run the script because he runs the server therefore less chance of a timeout. Again, I mainly wanted to get a score up on the board. The client didn't timeout for about 3 hours so it was a good oportunity to get the ball rolling for this contest. I care more about this becoming a title than I do about holding it trust me.

Utopia that's in the admin I will get !stats to work but I will also email ppl this screen if I am around when they hit 100. The real problem is that the connection times out so often and that resets your time and deaths. You could show up with a 5 min 100kills with no deaths... I hope the other servers start using !stats and that they don't reset as much as mine. Db, You forget you play in Party a lot? You have a similar ratio. feel free to beat it btw look at my ping *cough*lagger*cough* I really just wanted to get on the board but the amount of deaths only matters if you have the same time as someone else. I am sure I can beat this time too. I think this will be a good indicator of how good you are even thou it's real easy to cheat I hope noone does.

OK we have our first 100kills champion. You will never guess who it is As the current Champion I can wear the <100>Tag in game until I am beaten. I can also add that i am the champion to my sig I can't seem to keep my scripts going, but I am working on it so I had to use the stats from admin. I hope other servers are using the !stats script so you can get your time.

For the record I am against banning ppl with an "F" in thier name. Don't give Mr.Bump ideas
