there is no mta 1.0 or 1.1, crowther92, you must join a server with the mta client and press start game on the client, dont load the game like single player, make sure you enter a server with people in, to find servers use the server tab on the client

if he is using the latest skin, then the edit button gets pushed off the screen when people post a picture bigger than the skin

you are joining vice city servers, thats why, join a gta3 server then press start game

well if you have no firewall or router, they it should be done, dont forget you wont see your own server on the list, because its localhost also make sure windows firewall isnt turned on

did you turn on ase in the server config? your ip would be shown as 127.0.0.1 on the logs because you are connecting via the same machine

if the server is on the same pc or lan as where you are trying to play the game from, it wont show up ( ASE is funny like that ), try connecting to the same port but for host try 127.0.0.1 or localhost

You should be using MTA 0.5, not gta3mta, mta 0.5 has mp for both vice city and gta3 Also make sure your gta3 is version 1.1

Is your GTA: Vice City install clean? as in no mods / hacks, also have you selected the right game version in the client? and played the game at least once in single player? try a reinstall of mta too

Yes, at the installation procedure, also make sure the right map is selected on the server browser, or if that doesnt work, try getting ASE ( All Seeing Eye )

have your patched your gta3 to 1.1 ? i belive you need 1.1 to play gta3, also remember to play the game AT LEAST once in single player before trying to play it online
