  1. So some time ago, G&T released their G&T custom world map, which consisted of two small islands made with a mix of custom models and GTA objects. Being friends with Tails from G&T, he gave me permission to redesign and use his map for a roleplay server (that is now closed, unfortunately). We completely overturned the map and models, redoing nearly everything there was to do. This map took over a year to make and is my pride and joy of mapping.   2. i know this thread is old but i found it by searching online, so maybe this will help others that search online. These objects are indeed mappable objects, but theyre what i like to call irrelevant objects. ones that have no collision, are very hard to work with, and cant really be used with anything; just all- around useless objects. As tails said (hi @Tails ?) try searching for "wire" or "billboard" and "board" for those objects. but if you would like to remove them, you can do one of two things. The harder of the two would be to edit your .map file to make the problem object into a removeWorldObject manually, but youll need the exact position and object ID for that. the second option would be to make a short script to remove the object forcefully. This is an example that was found online to remove all the night time building window lights from the server, as they can interfere with custom mapping. im sure this can be edited to include what you need
  3. Actually just figured it out. for anyone else wondering, the grass was a shader attached to the world object. so by deleting the world object and creating a mapped one of the same ID it removed the grass

  5. go to your mta folder/server/mods/deathmatch/resources and find the map you saved. take that whole folder (should be 4 files) and move it to the same filepath but on your server, not your computer
  6. probably late by now but searching "bball" will bring up a large flat concrete piece. object 8661 is the same object but smaller. object 12814 is the same thing but dirt

    i need help

    this would be more of a scripting question. you could script something to remove most of the map, then delete the bridges and fill the holes with another land object
  8. some SAMP objects arent compatible in MTA, it may be you tried to convert a samp-only object
  9. you can do it without modeling as well if youre good with mapping. ive seen it done

Hey there, so ive looked far and wide on dev prineside and the map editor itself to try to find these objects to remove it from blueberry farm. does anyone happen to know these objects or have any removeWorldObject lines for them? keep in mind i only want to delete the two types of grass (short around the field, and long on the field) pictured in the image, and only for the radius of the farm.

    vehicle nodes

    anyone know how vehicle nodes work? cant seem to find tutorials anywhere and im not sure of any other efficient way to create streets and street names etc. an example of what im talking about is placed below

Hey, so in SA there are two interiors in the game that show in all dimensions and interior IDs, and i cant figure out how to delete them, as they are interfering with my map. one is the doherty area, and the other is the area directly behind PD in LS (screenshots attached). i have a resource that deletes every world object from the game and replaces it with water (aka makes an ocean) but even still, since its treated like an interior and i cant just delete all interiors, it still shows. any help would be appreciated. (dont mind the island in the first SS, thats unrelated. but the stoplights over the island are related to the interior issue)

    Error with downloading

    fixed it. to anyone else that may run across this issue in the future, check your HTTP port. you may need to change it to something else. if you're using an old .conf that had a different <serverport/>, make sure your old HTTP port matches too. the default is 22005 but for some reason, my server required 23005. i changed the port, opened it in the router and it works now

    Error with downloading

    Yo, so i tried starting my freeroam server back up and both myself and a tester friend kept getting this error for several resources. he got kicked, while i remained in game but the downloads canceled. i tried reinstalling my server as well but no luck. what does this mean and how can i fix it?     Minimap help

    This isnt quite a scripting question, so i'm asking here. moderators move if theres a better area: i need someone that knows how to make custom minimap/f11 maps based on your environment/map. ive seen this done in SAAW but i have no way to contact the owner to ask his advice personally. basically, i have a custom city that im going to use for something, buts its mapped in the water and i need a map for players to navigate easier.
