Try this https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Kno ... any_server . Or else if you're running on Win Vista then try this https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Kno ... on_connect .
-
If this happens only on your server, then what resources would you be running at the time when the crashes happen. Also, could you upload the dumps?
-
Next time use the search function. It's on the top right corner of your screen. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Resource:Admin
-
Try a couple of these solutions. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Resource:Editor#FAQ
-
One question, does single-player still work?
-
Could you attach your client dumps? These may be found in your MTA SA installation directory. (\MTA San Andreas\MTA\dumps)
-
Yeah but there must have been a specific resource running which would have caused the crash. What game-mode were you running and what other resources were running in the background?
-
It's simple, to play Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas you must buy the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Example: http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/570863/ ... Price&fb=0
-
Please read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Thef ... an_Andreas MTA requires this game to run. MTA is not a game, it is an application which is made to run in combination with San Andreas.
-
Why does it seem to me that you do not even have San Andreas?
-
Does single-player work for you? If not I'd suggest reinstalling the game. gta_sa.exe is normally located in the folder where you install the game, not MTA's.
-
Already done that jhxp. All I get are the commercials, and when trying to skip them I get the 'tuning frequency' sound going on in an infinite loop.
-
Just tested it, User Track Player is broken for me too.
-
What were you doing at the time when the crashes occurred?
-
I don't think so (correct me if I'm wrong). Might be possible with mtasa://nick:pass@ip:port but I doubt it. If it's not possible you could suggest it on mantis for it to get implemented. http://bugs.mtasa.com
-
What are your PC specifications?
-
Try deleting the GTA San Andreas settings file ("gta_sa.set") in your "Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files" folder.
-
Try downloading the latest DirectX Runtime files from Microsoft. Also check in Task Manager, if gta_sa.exe process isn't already running. If you run at any substandard resolutions (e.g. 960x720), try to change your resolution to a commonly supported one (e.g. 640×480, 800×600, 1024×768, 1152×864, 1280×1024) by launching Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in normal mode, setting the new resolution and exiting. If you are a user of Windows Vista or Windows 7, try the following: Enable Windows XP SP3 compatiblity mode for both Multi Theft Auto.exe and gta_sa.exe, setting their privilege level to "Run this program as an administrator". Configure Data Execution Prevention: Use the setting Turn DEP for all programs and services except those I select. Click add and find "Multi Theft Auto.exe" and "gta_sa.exe" and add them. Run MTASA as administrator. Source(s): https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Kno ... ash_screen

Then attach them to a post so a developer may view them.
-
Is it generating any server dumps? (\MTA San Andreas\MTA\dumps\).
-
You may use the AMX Emulator which you may find HERE.
-
By version I meant are you using the Map Editor resource which came packaged with 1.0.4. What exactly is happening when 1.0.4 is not starting? Any error messages whatsoever?
-
If you mean how you may use one of your maps in single-player then all you need is a .map => .IPL converter. You may try http://gtamap.delux-host.com/converter/ .
