    It'll be pretty hard to find map makers to make exclusive maps for your clan and in return have admin right and 'VIP' status but good luck.
  6. The installer denies installation because your asking it to install MTA into gta_sa.exe (which is not a folder), remove gta_sa.exe from the installation path like jhxp said.
  7. http://bugs.mtasa.com/ has gone public since MTA went open-source. It's a place where the community reports bugs so that MTA developers may fix them.
  8. I believe that's a bug in GTA when it comes to custom object placing. If I'm right (someone correct me if I'm wrong) it was partially fixed, need to find it on the bug tracker to verify.

    It's simple, you won't get that error when modifying models. From 1.0.3 onwards the modification of the folder 'data' only was forbidden.
  10. My thoughts? To be honest coming here and arguing that 1.0.4 is 'sh*t' isn't going to get the 'sh*t' fixed. It's called a bug tracker, ever tried using it? Simply boycotting a version isn't helping at all. And to be honest the download problem sounds like it's something on your side.
  11. Why? They are so unique, and it's surely strange.. A line had to be drawn, there were far too many resources from DP2.x to code and keep support for 1.x including the small amount of time remaining and developers. Can you be more precise? For ex. Is assault ok? I heard about frequent crashes. Assault should be ok, I'd suggest Stealth too. I don't have any favourite gamemodes there, I have my own scripted nearly from scratch freeroam gamemode. But I don't want to move to MTA testing not really changing ANYTHING in the gameplay... You don't have to change anything from the gameplay but that's up to you anyway.
  12. Interstate69 and battlefield69 support has been dropped after DP2.x, feel free to code a similar game-mode. I haven't seen any servers with a game-mode similar to either Interstate69 or battlefield69 so you could have a successful server running. As for testing game-modes yourself use the default resources that come packaged with MTA, though there are a couple of good community resources on the site. Have you tried MTA's AMX converter where you can play your favourite you-know-what game-modes on MTA?
  13. This error happens when the server you are trying to connect to is unable to provide you with a valid link. This results in a 404 (Not found) HTTP error and an error at your end. Has this always happened to you on 1.0.3? And to be honest 1.0.4 is far more stable than 1.0.3.
  14. The unhandled win32 exception is fixed in v1.6. How about adding a Ping tab to the server list?
  15. The file says it's v1.5 but the applications says it's v1.4. Nice work anyway! Also, when I close the application I get an unhandled win32 exception in mta-browser.exe (VS JIT).
  16. Have you waited for at least 5 hours for Game-Monitor to register your server? If you have a static IP as you say then once registered it'll be registered straight away upon starting the server again. If you've waited for over 5 hours, have you port forwarded the required ports?

    Yes, in my opinion 1.0.4 is the most stable yet. Special skins should be implemented in 1.1.
  23. Note if you have a dynamic IP it's useless.
  24. Well you must script them yourself. It's not easy, once creating them you must have paths for the peds to drive on. Lil_Toady has been working on this for over a year now.
  25. Which vehicles are these? Unless the models you chose do not have collisions by default then there is something wrong with your game.
