It would be cool if you could have a passenger's seat in the hunter but it isn't nescesary. By the way how come KYFS has a linux guy and blokker also has one but blokker's also has fries... strange

Let's just stick with ASE for now and maybe one day MTA will support both and then everybody is happy.... ok?

It says everywhere you need to download Microsoft Service Pack 1 for Windows XP. That solves the blocky text where you are unable to read what they say...

I voted yes but like Ranma said, there should be some limitations land being able to configure it.... Maybe not everybody wants it and obviously the cheaters are not gonna vote...*HEY* they should vote if they want to vote... get what i mean? FIrst everybody has to vote yes or no then if there are more yes'es then the votekick system is enabled... hehe

This is what you should do to start playing over the internet. THis is a detailed step by step guide. 1. Make sure you have a clean install of vice city, no mods or anything 2. Download MTA:VC and install it, during installation you need to specify you vice city location, do so. 3. Download the all seeing eye from http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/download/newer/EyeInstaller.exe 4. Install it and just do as it asks, you will not need to register or anything you will just have to enter some connection details. 5. After your done there might be some updates that will be installed, just say you want to download them and install them as well. 6. In the list on the left, it should say on top somewhere Multi Theft Auto. Right click it and select refresh. Now wait a while, this can take up to 30 seconds or even more if you have a slow connection. 7. You should have gotten a list on the right. Look for american or english flags as they will chat in english, or if you live in another country find a flag for that country. Also check the players list to make sure there are some players in that server and to make sure it is not full! 8. Double Click on the server you want to play in. Wait a while, and mta client should be launched automatically. It should also say connected. If it says connected you can just launch Vice City and select New Game. 9. Your in! Have fun! To see servers and to play over the internet you need a program called ASE (all seeing eye) you can download this program from http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/download/newer/EyeInstaller.exe. It is free and easy to set up. If you need any more help I will be there. Just ask! ps. The all seeing eye also support MTA:VC

How did you connect the computers? Using a crossover cable or do you have a hub or switch in between? The method should be the same. Make sure both computers have a unique ip address, something like 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x would be good. Now on one computer start the server. On that same computer start the client, specify your version, 1.0 or 1.1. Enter a nickname. Enter the ip address of the computer you ran the server. Now click connect. Do the same on the other computer and make sure they both are connected. Now just start vice city and click New Game... If you need any more help just tell me... Next time read the manual or the forum before as it has been posted already...

Exactly, It would be a mess if there were ai people and cars, it would be hard to synchronize every car and i think the game will run slower with more lag maybe?

Mr Bump is right, it won't be much fun to shoot from 20 km distance, it has to be realistic. I think they should keep it as it is.

I think it would be nice to have voice conversations but I think it will all be a mess, you know like everybody talking at the same time, there might be echos etc., and it might be hard to understand each other but after all it sounds like a fun idea!
