This is a very difficult time period for many of us, with the release of mta:vc0.2 in sight... EDIT: Yay 100 posts

what's a modem got to do with a release date? I don't get it "me". Still I think they should release the release date, hey, while i was writing this i understood "me"'s post, it might take longer than they expected...

yes, animations are not synched yet, which means they will still walk weird... anyway, who cares about that, they can fix that in a later release... for now, i want to have 0.2!!!

i think they will speed up and do some finishing touches, i would say within this week, i mean from today to the next sunday. I am checking the mtavc.com page 5 times a day at least to see if there are updates!

WOWOWOWOWOW! I am out of words... this is just so cool!!!!!! I really can't wait. Did you know that MTAteam is actually teasing us with all those screenshots... I definately know english is not her first language.. lol... i get the joke now. Anna, do what b0b0 said, just check the news page every few days, and you'll see when it is released. Also you can look at the progress meters on the right of the main page. They show the progress, when they are all full (the mta:vc 0.2 and the core 0.3.1) it means mta:vc0.2 will be soon, or has been, released.

stanton, what graphics problem do you have? If it is the one with slow loading textures, where you have to wait for low-resolution textures to be replaced with high-resolution textures, then it won't be fixed if you get the 1.1 patch. There are a lot of people with this problem. Next, if you want the 1.1 patch and you have an illegal version of vice city, then go to http://www.fileshack.com (like evil_shady said) or to http://www.gamecopyworld.com, or http://www.megagames.com and find a no cd 1.1 patch for gta vice city.

I have never heard of any spyware in xp, I do know that if you get an error and it says "send error report" people say it send personal details as well, which is why i click don't send. I know someone who has a win98 computer. He told me that there is no difference at all between 98 and xp, it just looks nicer! I have never heard something as untrue as that...

ANNA, those are screenshots of the new MTA version, MTA:VC0.2. Right now there only is 0.1. We will have to wait a week or so and then 0.2 will be released and you'll be able to play it. There is no Ip to play like that.

i don't have zonealarm and it works fine for me.... haha that is funny

If I already asked this somewhere then I am sorry: I just wanted to know if that "another player is already connected from this Ip" message is fixed in 0.2. I can't find any information on that. Hi, I have used the search function but I can't find the answer anywhere. Will the annoying "another player is already connected from this IP" message be gone in MTA:VC 0.2?? It is pretty annoying as I am unable to forward the required ports (as i have a pretty complicated network setup). It would be nice if I could join a server, and then that someone else in my LAN could to...

RP is roleplaying and obviously you dont know much because hes asking if there are any roleplaying servers, so it has everything to do with MTA. I am sorry for saying it has nothing to do with MTA, because it does... My apologies.

that was a very good explanation mr bump. I now understand how this works... so it doesn't mean will be released very soon, it could still take a longer time maybe it takes longer to do the last 10 percent with the finishing touches.

I am sorry for not knowing what RP is but I do know that this has nothing to do with MTA.
