  1. It is (or was?) possible with the Sandboxie-Software, I did it once. It was a long time ago (MTA:SA 1.3) and I am uncertain if it still works, but here is how I remember doing it: 1.: Start MTA:SA in a sandbox. 2.: MTA should spurt out an error about fonts. Copy all the fonts from MTA San Andreas 1.5\MTA\cgui into (I think) C:\Sandboxie\C\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\MTA\cgui 3.: After doing this, you can launch MTA two times. I think you need to start the first copy without sandboxie, and the second one with. I could be wrong tho. Or if you have 200$ laying around, get yourself some cheap Windows tablet and run it on that. OR just find a friend to help you :v
  2. Many thanks, Olle -- I am currently working on a youtube implementation and an option for players with slow connection to turn any streaming off. I also want to add show that the title of the current song/stream shows above the radio. So "stay tuned" ;p
  3. "admens" never gets set (Aka, it returns nothing.).
  4. I finished the resource, you can find the download link in the main-post! Have fun!
  5. Oh, that speedometer isn't mine. It was created by Sam@ke; you can find it here!
  6. Your model probably has too many polygons (or your GPU has like NO VRAM left for the textures). You'd have to hop into a 3D-Modeler and reduce the number of polygons by using some downscaling method. Not sure on how to do this, but I bet there's some tutorials on the net for that. I'd recommend that you use "low-poly" car mods, those won't slow down the game as much.
  7. Hello forums! :3 When looking through the radio resources on the community site, I couldn't find a proper resource for placing radios; some resources have weird features, others eat all the traffic, etc.. So I have decided on making the perfect placeable radio resource It takes streams and audio-files (youtube support is planned). It can be placed on the ground and on a vehicle. And when the player places another radio (or leaves the server), the old one gets deleted: To place a radio, use "/radio"
  8. Okay, I will try again. EDIT: *giant facepalm* I had a "if" event there that broke everything. Thanks everyone, sorry for wasting your time
  9. Hello people I've been trying to reset account data for a system I wrote to save the player's weapons, however; I can not find a way to delete account data that I've set. I've tried setAccountData(acc,"key",false) and setAccountData(acc,"key",nil), but nothing seems to work I get no errors and the the account that I used exists. Any help?
  10. Well I had to fiddle abit till it got applied, but then it worked It helps alot, many thanks
  11. @iAxel: As far as I know, it's planned to release as a download. However, the creator hasn't been online for the last couple of months, so I don't know if it's ever gonna happen. We just have to be patient.
  12. Alright, after going "I'll finish it tomorrow..." for the past weeks, I finally finished the new version of IVE-Handling! It has improved in many ways, take a look: Check it out on the community!
  13. It indeed does help, however the fov is still too low. The FOV is much better with the singleplayer widescreen fix.
  14. *Bump* (I don't like bumping, but this is a serious problem.)
  15. Yeah, it's a real problem. Raising the weight makes small vehicles less bouncy, but makes big vehicles flip over easily (Well I think, I'll have to test it again with the new suspension im working on..).I'll get back at you when I found something EDIT: YOU ARE A SAINT! That idea made the vehicles handle so much better Many thanks ♥, It will be included with the next version. EDIT 2: Due to complications with the internet (it's slow as hell) and because im lazy, the next version of the Handling-Resource will release this Friday - Sunday.
  16. It changes the handling of vehicles by changing only some of the handling's values. Yup, tweaking every single vehicle would be alot of work. I actually tweaked the brakes a bit. But i'll test it if I have time, I would love seeing the uncompiled thing tho Well, driving an infernus at 200km/h is boring as f*. In my opinion, all the vehicles in GTA SA were far too slow. The cars still control alright on high speeds, so I think it's a big improvement on GTA's boring driving physics.ANNOUNCEMENT I would also like to announce that I've been working on a abit-more-advanced resource to replace engine-sounds. It has sounds for the engine (duh), shifting and a blowoff sound (for fast vehicles). It should work for multiple players (untested tho)! It will also feature support for custom RPM-Scripts. So be excited! I will try to roll out the update out in a couple of days (Fixes a major bug I found), same for the engine-sound resource.
  17. Now that you mention it, bicycles are pretty fast. Alright, I will tweak them with the next patch I guess I could share details about the new IVE-Handling version that will release soon: - Tweaked traction-bias, no more annoying oversteering. - Changed the brakes, and brake bias as the brakes felt too weak in the first version. - I'm also working on a acceleration tweak. And more
  18. Current resolution is 1920x1080 (native screen resolution), my old resolution was 1280x1024 (on old 5:4 screen) and my aspect ratio is set to auto (setting it to 16:9 doesn't change anything, other ratios just stretch the image). My game isn't stretched, the FOV is not wide enough for 16:9 screens (however, it was enough on my old 5:4 screen). I would rather prefer a FOV of 80 or even 90.
  19. This project isn't dead, btw. I've just been busy with RL. I will get back to it ASAP.
  20. Bump! Since I got my widescreen monitor, I'm getting really motion-sick because of the low FOV (And I don't easily get motion sick). The game is almost unplayable for me. Please, add some kind of FOV-Multiplier to the options. It should be possible, as this mods adds something like that in SP: http://thirteenag.github.io/widescreen_fixes_pack#gtasa There could be some kind of setting in the servers, incase servers don't want the client to use higher FOVs.
  21. You could try freezing the cars client-side for players that are on foot.

Bump, I can't use reshade with MTA.
  23. Wow, that looks awesome. What computer do you need for running this?
