Theres not even any information about GTA4 beyond the fact it will be made outside of the current Sony contract. Way too early to ask about GTA5.

MTA doesnt use any 'multiplayer' code from gta3 nor vc. Basically it was stumbling across things such as an unused multiplayer menu and actors named player2, player3 etc, indicating that at some point early on there had been the intention to include multiplayer, that sparked IJs's interest and planted the idea in his head

Stubby can kill in one shot yes, over distance the spread causes less bullets to hit and therefore damage is reduced. Hence it usually taking two. What your describing sounds like lag causing your view to be slightly closer than the other players, so your close enough to melee with your gun your end, but their end your a little further away and boom, shot dead, hardly somethign to consider glitching.

JonChappel: we have a large enough team to work on more than one thing at once. Like now for instance, some are concentrating on Blue some are concentrating on the next 0.4.x release. It's simply that we cannot promise one way or the other right now until we have the 0.4 series tied up. Perhaps then those of us who worked on that core will move over to implementing gta3 in the new core, then again perhaps we will be concentrating on VC blue. There's really no way of telling until we get to that time.

There should be an event this weekend, probably sunday afternoon/ evening. I'm not sure about Dodo duel as its a very specialised skill and most Gangs wont have enough pilots capable.

People already run scripts such as this with the aid of MTAmA, although of course that has little true interaction with the gameworld other than the ability to kick and slap for -20 health.
