  1. Co-op would make missions too easy. Unless difficulty was added in line with the number of people in a team/on that mission it wouldnt be that fun.
  2. The idea of having it at 2 bases has been suggested, but is harder to code, so 1 is being used for now. Wether the car respawns at the original point, or at checkpoints closer to your base the closer you get it. So if your past X metres away, then you travel a bit further and the car blows up, it will respawn at that checkpoint of X metres instead of the original spawn point.
  3. gta3 has a LOT of shortcuts, and ramps as well =) somewhere like portland is perfect to have a race, just set up the checkpoints and your off! As long as the mafia don't have their shotties its fine =) Don't you like Nascar/Indy Car FoX?
  4. Id say st marks will not be used if there were races. But if it is get your BP cars ready! =) Cars in garage will most likely be disabled, so no using those BP cheetahs you worked so hard to earn on turismo =)
  5. fire-truck/arsonists, cops and robbers, ambulance missions (hard or maybe impossible to do as the people die, but are standing up so they can get in ambulance?), taxi missions (a racing variation really) or co-op/team missions of the above have all been sugested. I have no idea if/when these will be implemented =)
  6. The limit of cash to win could be set by the server, so that doesnt really matter. Scoring? - you do the normal things in GTA3 to earn cash. Attracting cops should instantly raise your cash (does gta3 do that anyway?) as well.
  7. I believe they are going to give the whooppie the armour of an FBI car. Id say the speed of it is right, just make sure that the jingle automatically plays when you get in it! =)
  8. spawn shut down the MTA boards on modstack. I wont go into that =)
  9. you mean drive around and sell it? that would have to be like a "get to this person" then this one, like a taxi mission.
  10. its been suggested. - cops would be added for fun overcourse, and why not drive it through enemy turf, so you can be fired on as well =)

  12. 0.3a should remove some problems, and if people read the FAQ it would help =) besides that we have forums and a help bot on irc, i don't think a video is needed =)

  14. I wouldnt know that, but I think that the mod was first released for public D/L on 19 Feb 2003.

  17. there is an advantage you can run faster, jump higher, and punch harder. It also helps your aiming! =)
  18. A. yes bill, 'Q'. as in the letter in the alohabet inbetween P and R. Usually has a u after it? - remember that one bill? =) Weird question Q. I see that some of the admin have a moderator tag AND a custom tag. How do i change my tag? - dont need the word moderator there twice =)

  20. yes it does it means the mod supports 2-XX players (XX = a random number up to the mod's limit bill =P)
  21. I think he means like the side of a hill, with drops, creavces etc etc. But most people wouldnt bother going down the hill, but more try to jump off of it.
  22. problem is - people would just skip the downhill and fall to the ground! - with a firetruck i could probably drop it from any height and stop it from rolling! Uphill is much more fun, see who can get to the top of a hill the fastest, most interesting way etc etc.

  24. Drugs work when your in a car? A player on drugs has extra jumping/punching power, which is easy to add, but the slow motion is great for sniping as well=) - and it helps general aiming, thats gonna be hard to implent as it affects everything, including cars, peds, other players, AI etc
  25. nonono - any number of players between 2 and whatever the mode can handle/limit is set are supported.
