the game is great, and im waiting for synced everything. the idea of synced damage to street poles and that is good as it iwll make the race's more realistic. synced weather is probably most important so that people dont get lagged down by rain while others do. synced traffic would be fun and who cares about pedestrians though.

heh. good guide. i agree with u alot. its a bloody great mod and they deserve alot of credit for doing this. i follow a process like this guide and it always works for me. but i pick the diablos not the mafia

lol. i tried this and it does happen. i shot the guys on the roof. got a helicopter after me, so i left in my mafia sentinal, to discover road blocks =/

the connection speed has nothing to do with it. thats just how much u can handle in bandwidth. the 0.8k is what is currently transfering. have a look at cs's bandwidth monitor, i got a 300k/s + connection and it only goes at 2.3k/s and everything is smooth on a full server.

that is exactly why u use a frame rate increaser mod for the game. gets rid of rain falling, doesnt stop rain entirely though, that is a problem that would have to be dealt with. might be able to edit something to stop rain all together. lol

good point with that. if it checks for a sort of cheat used in the cfg file while connecting it could save lag when first entering the game, but it might also slow the server down. but the question is, lag or cheat? ill take lag.

tuesday ovr here already for 19 hours i dont mind when it comes out as long as its coming, dont have to worry about being good as i know it will be. ill be checking again 2 morrow in my computers class as usual though

hell yeha! too bad on the loss of gamemodes though
