First of all: WTF there isnt a "onClientVehicleDamage" event?!?! Ok, so what is wrong here? function damage1 (thePlayer) h = getElementHealth ( thePlayer ) setElementHealth ( thePlayer, h-10 ) end addEventHandler( "onVehicleDamage", root, damage1 ) debugscript 3 says "bad argument"
-
Works correctly, ty dude

No, chatbox is not a resource. You can disable it with client or server-side functions.

amarker = createMarker ( -1992.8759765625, 287.905334, 33, "cylinder", 1.5, 255, 0, 0, 0 ) function MarkerHit ( source ) setCameraMatrix(source, -2018, 159, 95, -1981, 229, 170, 0, 0) end addEventHandler ( "onClientMarkerHit", amarker, MarkerHit ) That is not working, why? Oo Marker has been created successfuly, but when I hit it, debugscript says "Bad Argument @ setCameraMatrix" but it is correct... or not?

So? When will it be fixed? I really need it, I'm trying to replace it with load DFF 2 times and then replace another after 50 ms...

Hi all! Ok, I had 3 servers opened, NFS, Race and Basemode. I was making a new server, when I finished it, i closed NFS and Basemode server. Ok so they are closed, I went to game to check if they're closed, and I was seeing NFS Server in browser list, I said "wtf? maybe i did something wrong..." I closed NFS again, and it (puTTY) says there is no ./mta-server process, so i said "WTF?!?" I started it again, and closed, started and closed... yep, but it keeps in server list.... WTF?!?! Ok nothing happens, server folder was "NFSServer", I renamed it to "RPGServer", ok so i went to server NFS, I loged as admin, i did /refresh and now there is no resource in server (admin panel isnt there too). I said "WTF" again, i tryed to stop again RPGServer, and it says there is no process, so I changed server ports and title, and now there are 3 SERVERS IN BROWSER LIST!! BIG WTF!!!!! NFSServer RPGServer and RaceServer Can someone help? Thanks.

Yes I failed. I put "getPedOccupiedVehicle" out of function because I failed again. I made this question when I was... sleepy lol.
-
root is already defined as a keyword in MTA: LOL i failed "onClientResourceRestart", its just Start ! Ok ty all
-
Maybe this will sound stupid, but I want to know how to add an event with getPedOccupiedVehicle... vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle (getLocalPlayer()) function damageproof() setVehicleDamageProof (vehicle, true) end addEventHandler ("onClientResourceStart", root, damageproof) Idk if is that correct, but it is just an example, (it isnt correct yes I know) it isnt working, it is a "bad argument"... the same thing happens with all, so i think that "vehicle" needs something to work with events, so I want to know what it needs.

Why? That script is allowed (it is just a retextured S.W.A.T. made by the uploader)

Ayuda con el server no se que hice O.O
diegofkda replied to juniorblinxs's topic in Ayuda relacionada al cliente/servidor
Este MTA config impide que el server esté en la lista de servers y en game-monitor. Aqui esta el que sería correcto: <config> <!-- This parameter specifies the name the server will be visible as in the ingame server browser and on Game-Monitor. It is a required parameter. --> <servername>HyDrA_Server_Espanol</servername> <!-- ONLY USE THIS PARAMETER IF YOU ARE SURE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING - it is generally only needed for professional servers and should be left blank otherwise. This parameter specifies the IP to use for servers that have multiple IP addresses. If left blank, it will default to server's standard local IP address. No es nesesario poner 1. --> <serverip></serverip> <!-- This parameter specifies the Maximum Transmission Unit or maximum packet size that the server will use. This will depend on the nature of your clients, as well as the network medium your server is connected to. --> <mtusize>1264</mtusize> <!-- This parameter specifies the UDP port on which the server will be accepting incoming player connections; default value: 22003. It is a required parameter. --> <serverport>22003</serverport> <!-- This parameter specifies the number of maximum player slots available on the server; default value: 32. It is a required parameter. --> <maxplayers>20</maxplayers> <!-- This parameter specifies whether the builtin http server will be used. Values: 0 - disabled , 1 - enabled ; default value: 1. Optional parameter. --> <httpserver>1</httpserver> <!-- Verificar carpeta Data. Valor 0 = No, Valor 1 = Si. --> <verifyclientsettings>1</verifyclientsettings> <!-- This parameter specifies the TCP port on which the server will be accepting incoming http connections. It can be set to the same value as <serverport> . It is a required parameter if <httpserver> is set to 1. --> <httpport>22005</httpport> <!-- If set, this parameter specifies the external URL from which clients will be able to download needed resources ingame. Otherwise they will download them directly from the server. --> <httpdownloadurl></httpdownloadurl> <!-- This parameter specifies whether the client files for hosting on an external web server should be automatically copied into mods/deathmatch/resource-cache/http-client-files/ Only relevant if <httpdownloadurl> is set. Values: 0 - disabled , 1 - enabled ; default value: 1. Optional parameter. --> <httpautoclientfiles>1</httpautoclientfiles> <!-- This parameter limits the number of http connections each client can make. If you are using an external Apache web server, a lower figure such as 8 may be required to avoid download timeouts. A streamlined web server such as lighttpd, would benefit from the maximum setting of 32. (Note: If set to less than 32, pre 1.0.3 clients will be diverted to use MTA's inbuilt web server) Available range: 2 to 32. --> <httpconnectionsperclient>32</httpconnectionsperclient> <!-- This parameter specifies what types of checks the clients should make to ensure there has been no tampering with certain settings. Values: 0 - disabled , -1 - everything. default value: -1. --> <verifyclientsettings>-1</verifyclientsettings> <!-- Comma seperated list of disabled anti-cheats. e.g. To disable anti-cheat #2 and #3, use: 2,3 --> <disableac>2</disableac> <!-- Minimum client version. Clients with a lower version will not be allowed to connect. After disconnection, clients will be given an opportunity to download an update (if their client supports auto-update). If left blank, this setting is disabled and there are no restrictions on who can connect. Version numbers look like this: 1.0.4-9.01746.0 --> <minclientversion></minclientversion> <!-- Recommended client version. When connecting, if clients have a lower version, they will be given the option to download an update (if their client supports auto-update). If left blank, this setting is disabled. --> <recommendedclientversion></recommendedclientversion> <!-- This parameter can be used to make the server report to Game-Monitor master servers, allowing it to be visible in the ingame server browser. An additional UDP port needs to be available for this to work (value from <serverport> + 123 , so on a default <serverport> value 22003 the right port will be 22126 ). Available values: 0 - disabled , 1 - enabled. Optional parameter, defaults to 0. --> <ase>1</ase> <!-- This parameter allows you to disable LAN broadcasting. --> <donotbroadcastlan>1</donotbroadcastlan> <!-- If set, players will have to provide a password specified below, before they can connect to the server. If left blank, server doesn't require a password from them. --> <password></password> <!-- Specifies the location and name of the main server log file. If left blank, server won't be saving this file. --> <logfile>logs/server.log</logfile> <!-- As well as the main log file, login successes and failures are logged here for easy reviewing of security issues. If left blank, this file is not used --> <authfile>logs/server_auth.log</authfile> <!-- This parameter specifies the location and name of the Access Control List settings file. If left blank, server will use acl.xml file, located in the same folder as this configuration file. --> <acl>acl.xml</acl> <!-- Specifies the location and name of the debugscript log file. Works but I'm seeing many getElementVelocity bugs.
-
try this function timers() setTimer ( playerinfo2, 50, 0) end addCommandHandler ("explosions", timers) function playerinfo2() local vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle (getLocalPlayer()) local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( vehicle ) if ( getElementVelocity(vehicle) >= 100 ) then createExplosion ( x, y, z-4, 12 ) else end end and translate this http://www.lua.ru/doc/2.5.2.html and read lol ok ty

I was making this script function timers() setTimer ( playerinfo2, 50, 0) end addCommandHandler ("explosions", timers) function playerinfo2() local vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle (getLocalPlayer()) local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( vehicle ) if ( getElementVelocity(vehicle) == 100 ) then createExplosion ( x, y, z-4, 12 ) else end end Yes, it works correctly, as you can see, when the vehicle goes to 100, it will make an explosion near it. but i want to make the explosion when the vehicle goes MORE than 100, how to do it?

Try delete file editor_test and editor_dump .

It is a server script.

The other day someone faked our mtasa.tk server (when i joined it redirects to player to SLK server )

I know the resolution is the size of game screen, but i have max resolution (cant remember number) and it doesnt shows shadow file, having low FX quality (shadow will be a TXD if i set it to default or less). That is not what i am talking about, i was talking about car shadow and headlight image (it is in practicle.txd file) wont show (for the shadow, wont show in low resolutions) if im on a custom DFF. It isnt a major bug i know, but i think it can be fixed
-
Resolution has nothing to do with shadows Yes it has. When you run your GTA game with high resolution, you will not see shad_car texture (a kind of DFF and TXD attached to vehicle), the same thing happens (if im not wrong) with high visual treatment.
-
oh it is dynamic because you are running your GTA with high resolution and ENBSeries mod. Try run with low resolutions and you wont see any shadow
