As long GTA is streaming the audio files from your harddisk try to defrag it.

We changed the stuntserver now its with anticheat enabled, the race server always had the anticheat running.

And once again you are trying to get support for creating a mod that has nothing to do with mta... why for gods sake are you posting something like this in a board called MTA: San Andreas?

Well i dont think so... its just another kind of business! While the older GTA parts where more mafia like, GTA:SA is more the kind of ghetto gang criminality. Thats just depends on whats your favour gangster style (sounds bad but isnt as long you keep it ingame) i for myself like both styles so in my opinion GTA hasn`t lost it.

Fraps is the weapon of your choice i guess its easy to use, and there is a (restricted) free version of it. I never used gamecam so i cant say something about it.

Oh boy i should read the whole post before i hit reply^^ In this i case i dont think its lost athmosphere, cause i always got this moments while playing Singleplayer SA where i had my laugh p.e. driving down the road some passenger jumps of the street to escape my car and got wrecked up by a big truck, sounds simple and violent but its just the game i definitly wont laugh if something like this happen in reality. imo thats the thing that make GTA such a great game its close to reality and you can be any kind of person you want to from a mass murder to the gently guy that helps an old lady across the street, anything is possible but it stays virtual. As long kids got a good education and parents that care for them i believe they wont have any problems to differ reality from virtuality. But sadly there are too many kids out there who dont have responsible parents.

My answer would be Yes/No i really like the huge map of San Andreas there is so much fun and life in it. But Vice City was the most atmospheric part in the GTA series imo. I was really in love with the 80`s style i never played a single player game longer than GTA:VC. GTA3 was not that good at all and i think you cant compare the older 2D GTA games with the ones based on the 3D engine but they were great fun also.

If you dont know how to open a dll file better stop right now, dont try to change anything in there all you get would be more bugs. Even if i cant imagine that the d3d9.dll is bugging you i guess the error is somewhere else. Download the maps you like from http://center.mtasa.com/ and have fun, else start the map editor and mess a bit around with it, its pretty simple to use.

lol, calibrate your controller then. Has nothing to do with the controller, its some stange mapping of the axes... got the same problem, but i doesnt bug me.

Well i try to explain it a different way.... We got two MTA servers up and running on a "rented" linux machine (no chance that the lead admin going to install VM and Windows there), i got the MTA client installed on my Windows homePC where do i have to install MTA:mA and MTA:GUS that i works proper? Client or Server?

Okay thats the only way? And still wondering if it is a client side or server side mod... well as long it is client side there aint any problems... but i cant imagine how it should work then :shrugs:

Well someone may call me a newb, but i readed and readed through the threads and still dont get it... How can i make the general use script running on our linux server... as long there is only a .exe file linked in the thread. Is this a client or server side modification? Anyone got a little tutorial or could explain it here in some quick steps? :feeling stupid:

nothing is gonna change if you dont report these hacks so they can be blocked, the mta devs and the qa team arent sitting in servers all the time trying to spot hacks, if you want to fight cheaters you gotta work together either pm on irc, forum pm a dev or mod, or use the "contact the mods'' button, include the links to the cheats and all relevant info, it will be looked at. Well i have already done this, but got no answer if it was seen or recognized at all... so if there is someone on the dev team who takes cares of things like these, please tell ous who it is, so we can be sure the information gets to the right hands.

Not at all, in first it uses GUID ban but they also can do hardware bans based on MAC Adress and HD SN. I have read a post where a bunch of cheaters was whining about Hardware Bans giving through PB and how they may play again, the only resolution was to change all networkadapters and harddisks used. Means a lot of money, but thats good imo. At least the bans in MTA would be from one server only, not from the whole game like BF2. Blokker if you wanna know my ressources let me know.

Oh yeah a free cam mode, you could do some aweseom videoshots with that, at the moment i have to use the helicopter in first person view, not the best way thug.

That wont help either. What is needed, but cant say if its possible, is a unique ID (means you need to create an account to play mta) or bans of MAC adresses instead of IPs, and even that would not really help cause there are ways around it, a combination out of the MAC adress and the serial numbers of the hard drives [like Punkbuster does] would be the best, cause that means that they have at least to buy a new HD and network adapter to get back on server that they were banned [right way to threat cheaters/ragers imo]. But i guess the devs of mta already thaught about this and had their reasons not to do it.

Petition signed. Yay we need a spectate mode, pressing a button to respawn whould be nice too, but please dont write a message like "please press "r" to respawn" in the middle of the screen. I want to make a video and need to spectate other people then it would be so bad if a message pops up.
