it happens sometimes when a gui element pops up. seems to have something to do with text rendering. should be fixed in dp3 as far as i know. till then live with it, many people got that.

you could place objects instead of checkpoints to get the positions

uhm script it? if you don't want to script it theres no need for money as long as you don't run a gamemode which needs money... and usually those gamemodes will also give you the possibility to gain money

as far as i know the delux converter only converts objects.

If you can't take a single crash I recommend hosting an other game! MTA is really stable but crashes will always happen. Whatever... Unfortunately if you want to find the issue you will have to take the time to find it. I see no other possibility than that.

What makes you so excited about it? It's really nothing special, that was one of my first idea when I used the map editor, but at least I've put that along the highway so it wasn't too boring!

yeah, but if mta was the reason even after reinstalling it would mean mta has also damaged the installation files, or why should it stay broken?

removing some of your servers UI elements could improve your performance <---crazy don't know if you've been at some of the public betas but dp3 seems to solve some of the problems, guess it's because of the text rendering

how could mta corrupt the files on your installation dvd? when exactly does gta crash/freeze/whatever? any messages?

you can only have one of them installed at the same time.
