the fact that they haven't released a single video with 5+ players to get an impression of the gameplay/lagfactor with more people in server worries me. Perhaps they don't want to scare off the public too much, but it could also be very 'lagfree'. It's unknown uptill now. It's just that video tells us so much more than pics.

Although I think you should really try to get that capslock of yours repaired there is a truth hidden in it. It started nice, nothing special, but with all these new 'luxury' shit things have gone way out of hand. They're now trying to fix bugs and soon they'll find out that the amount of bugs is way too many and too much can't be fixed for a good/stable release. my estimation is that there will be no mta dm in the near future. Perhaps they'll rewrite the shit one day without all the luxury and there will be a stable release but I'm talking 2009 here.

Think this behavior will be more frequent the upcoming weeks, since MTA team is planning semi-public release. Hope MTA won't fall for those fake attitudes during their selection.

with reference to countdown...I don't think there should be one... you saw it happening with gta 4 trailer countdown> site down. I know we have to put this in perspective: sadly MTA isn't nearly as well known as gta4, but anyhow don't take the risk of overload by setting up a countdown...(the surprise will actually be much nicer when it finally comes unannounced)

I absolutely second that...things that you are implementing right now just doesn't suite a first (beta) release. One of the team members said that making cars with piewheels aren't slowing down the release... If that's true, what exactly is slowing down the release then?

this topic should be removed instantly, on the grounds that it might give the team an idea and we wouldn't want that:P besides...it's not the 'nature' of mta to charge people

I noticed in the last scripting video that when a person kills someone by nade or flamethower it just says: 'person' died ...Can you make it so that it says -->person1 killed person2 (nade) or person1 killed person2 (flamethrower)??

omg I can't believe some of the people are still thinking of 2006 release...there is NO way on EARTH that will be possible...I think we should wait just 5 more months and then there will be release candidate and perhaps there will be an open beta within the next 6/7 months who can tell... they really need a lot of time for building up a great map editor (from scratch) and implement that with all the bugs that needs to be fixed...estimated release: 30 may 2007

I think I found another bug in the 3rd video....in the position system... at the start of the race it says a question mark and then it changes to 11th... then a few people overtook jordan and then he overtook twice as much ...resulting>13th position at the end of movie It could be that I saw it wrongly but I was just wondering
