Reset your path path and make sure your MTA has version 1.1 loaded. When on your client click on options and change your VC Version to 1.1, This is what i did.

Most servers you will go on you will probably see someone cheating, even if they are pausing or glitching etc. Just inform the admin when needed. and hopefully solve your problem

I dont have any more suggestions on how to help you but MultiTheftAuto 0.5 is not compatible with Windows 9x, this includes Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE and Windows ME. Thats if you only have one of these though.

Unistall MTA, GTA3 and VC then maybe do a computer clear up because this usually helps me when im looking for the VC files which can be still on my computer then try a reinstall.

I like the idea of the peds, More realism and probably more fun gameplay.

Sometimes its best to play VC first then install MTA, Thats only if you havent tried that.

This is an error with the way we temporarily replace some of the games files. When you install take a back up of both weapon.dat and weapon.mta from the /gta?/data/ directory and put them somewhere safe. If you get this error close the client, REPLACE both files and retry. Thats how i solve my problem with the weapon.dat error/.
