Summary: Off the end of my hiatus, I returned to MTA after 6 years to pick up LUA once again and make something cool of the game that I(and many others), love the most. I was originally going to develop the gamemode to a playable point and then open source it for others to contribute and play, but after talks with a few people I have decided to keep the project private and host it when completed. So at the moment, this project is a Work In Progress, and I'm working on it on my own. But in such a short space of time, it has came a long way. The script is written the script from scratch, beginning on the 22/12/2022. I wanted the script tailored to be exactly what we need from it, no other garbage. I know these are advertisements for "Servers to Play On", but I'd like to see how much interest I can drum up to see if there's a potential playerbase, thus not wasting my time. The Lore: The background story to the lore of the server scenario is that it's 6 months into the zombie apocalypse. If you've made it this far, you must have some kind of clue so please roleplay as though you do. People are scarce, energy and fuel is scarce, items are scarce. Zombies move around in large herds. You must do what you have to do to survive. The source of the virus is unknown, but you're welcome to conspire your own theories. Roleplay: This is a roleplaying server, however you are only asked to roleplay when it affects another players experience. For instance, when encountering new players, trading with players, firefights, stealing another players vehicles/items etc. If you're playing solo and there's no-one around, play as you wish. If a bear :~s in the woods, and nobody is around... Staff: I'd like to keep staff interaction with roleplay minimal, so you can play without the need to report for an admin, and have them come to complete a task. I believe staff should only require involvement with player to player, or game-breaking bugs. Thanks man, I appreciate the support! I remember one done by some of the old school roleplayers(I remember Fields was one of them), in around 2014/2015. It worked quite well but was a vG rip. I decided to take another route and make my own from scratch.1 point

'.txd', passwordHash)), model) engineReplaceModel(engineLoadDFF(decodeSource('models/' .. path .. '.dff', passwordHash)), model) collectgarbage() But I think that the root cause of your problem is that you are loading in too many MTA server DFFs and TXDs into the game instead of only loading what is necessary.1 point

Judging by the error, the player cannot download files from an external server, so the files are downloaded from the internal. It can either be due to a problem on the client or server side. If that files are synchronized manually on an external server, it is worth checking that they are the same.1 point

الأخ يلي فوق ممكن توضيحه كان ناقص شوي لكن خذها معلومة عامة ،الكلاينت(جهاز الاعب) ما يقدر يسوي أي تأثير لأي لاعب غير نفسه، الاعبين الآخرين موجودين في جانب الكلاينت ..لكن الاشياء يلي تقدر تسويها محدودة مثل جلب معلومات عنهم مثل الاسم، البنق، المكان إلخ .هل اقدر اسوي عليهم بعض الفنكشنات مثل تغيير السكن؟ أي طيب انت قلت الكلاينت يشغل وظائف لنفسه فقط؟ صحيح، تقدر تغير السكن حقهم لكن يلي راح يشوف التغيير فقط أنت الباقين راح يشوفونه مثل ما هو بالنسبة للسورس(المصدر) لازم تشوف كل حدث لأن كل حدث يختلف المصدر حقه على سبيل المثال onClientMarkerHit إذا تحسب المصدر حقه هنا الاعب أقولك خطأ لازم تشوف الويكي راح تلقى إن المصدر حقه هو كائن الماركر يلي دخله الكائن وليس الاعب نفسه حتى بعض الأحداث ماعندهم مصدر اساسًا يختلف على حسب الحدث، على سبيل المثال حدث دخول الماركر زي ما قلنا المصدر حقه هو الماركر يلي دخله الاعب، نعرف فنكشن الايفنت له ارقمنت ثاني لكن وش يفرق؟ addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit",root,myFunction) -- راح يشتغل الحدث لجميع الماركرات addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit",resourceRoot,myFunction) -- راح يشتغل الحدث لجميع الماركرات التي تم إنشاءها من قبل نفس السكربت addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit",myMarker,myFunction) -- راح يشتغل الحدث للماركر المعين فقط لاحظ كيف الفرق؟ كلها في الارقمنت الثاني حق المصدر، هذي توضحها شجرة الكائنات لأن الاعب لا يتم إنشاءه من قبل سكربت، لو استخدمتها ما راح يشتغل الايفنت ،resourceRoot تحته كل شيء، ولاحظ إن الاعب مو ضمن root تقريبًا الصورة توضح كل شي (حدث إذا مات لاعب) onClientPlayerWasted وتقدر تستعمل الروت حتى في الكلاينت لبعض الأحداث على سبيل المثال طبعًا مو كل الأحداث يلي تخص الاعب أحيان تشتغل، تحتاج تشيك السورس والوصف حق الوظيفة على سبيل المثال الحدث يلي فوق مذكور إن يمديك تستخدمه وزي ما ذكرنا ما راح تقدر تسوي أي تأثير يشوفه الآخرين في جانب الكلاينت، راح يشتغل لك الحدث، لكن أي شي تسويه الاعبين الآخرين ما راح يشوفونه لأنه جانب الكلاينت جهازك فقط1 point

When it comes to support for the DE, my question is what’s the point? We can always mod the game ourselves and in the end that’s all DE is, a cheap set of stolen modifications. I’m surprised nobody tried to sue Grove Street Gaming… they pretty much just made an MTA server’s mods into a $60 game. Pretty dirty. So many veteran players would return if DE was supported or, *cough* MTA mobile. Alas that will not happen. Some things are not meant to be. But maybe, just maybe, DE and MTA will make it to the metaverse. I mean hey, Mark Zuckerberg seems to like San Andreas! Zuckerberg is kind of an ass but regarding integration we have support from the owner of Facebook. I guess that’s a chance… maybe an expensive DLC ridden mess of a chance but it’s something. Very cool to see Facebook give us a nod… however I doubt they’ll help in any way. Certainly not for free. In the end it’s understandable but disappointing. I’m disappointed at Rockstar after their GTA V shark card cash grab and hoped to see their help. It’s a big “F you” to the consumer, where MTA was always about the community. GTA: DE was an even bigger “F you” because it was bad and poorly released. But I get the feeling that Mark Zuckerberg talking about San Andreas (cannot stress this enough) meant GTA:DE was really a call to action for mobile gaming lobbyists. Was GTA:DE a metaverse rally? Attempting to bring the metaverse to life? Who knows. What we do know is that the DE update didn’t apply to mobile users. Salt on the wound or a deliberate move? Just frustrating, being left in the dark of our corporate leaders and large developers. But they would be the ones to fix us up with an update. Like Roblox for example, the only reason it’s popular and gets updates is because it is its own game (and kids play it). It’s cross platform, mobile to PC. It’s a cash cow, a downright scam. The ratings it receives, however, far surpass other comparable mobile games… solely on the back of children swiping their parents credit cards. It’s truly sad to see cash grab games win us over. MTA could’ve been a contender, DE could’ve made it too. But no. MTA mobile would’ve been the platform and place to have a regularly updated community and an actually fun alternative to the usual Clash of Clans/COD mobile crowd, and in another world maybe it even could’ve made it public. Wall Street is out to get people like us, plain and simple. The world is evil.1 point

Well, I've seen that there are other groups, that are working on a multiplayer mod for the 'GTA SA DE'. I hope that MTA will be the first. The others get bugged anyway. just like fivem. No one is better at it than the MTA Team.1 point

DOWNLOAD: https://community.multitheftauto.com/?p=resources&s=details&id=18330 Speaker system, it lets players create their own boxes to stream music (internet radio, and sound links like .mp3), and other players will hear it. - Sizable list of preset internet radio stations (see pic) - Players can also use custom URL, to play their own music - Speakers will be placed near player, or if they are inside a vehicle, it will be attached to their vehicle - Song title, if present, will be displayed above the speaker - Players (with "Turn other box" button) can decide if they want to hear everyone's speakers, or only their own speakers. This is useful for not having to listen to other people's music taste, a lot of music mixing with eachother, limited bandwidth, and for security aware users. This option will be saved in client settings file. - Admins can see the name of player who placed an individual speaker (hold left alt) and delete a speaker with /delbox [ID]. The ID is displayed next to speaker owner name. Hope someone finds it useful!1 point
