THIS SCRIPT IS NOT FINISHED, DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW RESOURCES WORK This gamemode was to be my masterpiece, and yet I am releasing it incomplete in the hopes someone talented might take over and complete it. I will only be available in a limited capacity for support. DOWNLOAD: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/f53adc357d/ -Players can choose up to 4 powers at a time, and a theme. -spawn on a travelling flying helicarrier -fight muggers, gangs, and suicide bombers -do missions to fight crime -random events occur, such as a ninja attack, dinosaurs, or A GIANT ROBOT ATTACKS THE CITY POWERS PASSIVE "Kung Fu" Double tap the jump button to deliver a powerful kick while facing an enemy to send them flying. "Wall Climbing" Double tap the jump button while facing a wall to stick to it and climb around. "Wall Jumping" Double tap the jump button while facing a wall to launch yourself up and away from it. "Super Sprinting" Hold down the sprint and a direction button and run at super speeds for a limited time. "Knockout Punch" Punching an enemy results in them being stunned and unable to retaliate for a short time. TRANSPORT "Flight" Press jump while in the air to toggle flight mode. "Sky Surfing" Press the transport button to summon a flying vehicle to surf on. "Teleportation" Hold the transport button to control how far you want to teleport. "Grapple Hook" Press the transport button to get a grapple hook that will pull you to wherever you aim it. "Super Jump" Hold the jump key to launch yourself high and far forward. "Grav Bike" Press transport button to summon a bike, then Press it again to toggle the bike's gravity control. OFFENSE "Beam Attack" Double tap the aim key to shoot a powerful beam based on your chosen theme. "Razor Claws" Double tap the aim key to lunge through the air, or just punch your enemies using your sharp blades. "Boomarang" Double tap and hold the aim key to throw a projectile, ricocheting off walls. "Dash Attack" Double tap the aim key Deliver a powerful leap, scattering your enemies. "Energy Ball" Double tap and hold the aim key to charge up and release an explosive energy blast. "Double Swords" Double tap the aim key to do a spinning blade attack and slice nearby enemies. "Throw things" Double tap the aim key while facing various thngs to pick them up, then double tap aim again to throw it. DEFENSE "Healing factor" When resting and not moving you regain health slowly. "Armor Regen" When resting and not moving you gain armor. "Invisibility" Turn invisible for a short time after being attacked. "Shield" Keep blocking to place an inpenetrable barrier between you and any threat. "Bullet Dodge" Dodge bullets for a limited time. "Durability" Immunity from falling or drowning damage.1 point

Hello there, I am with you with LVDM gamemode. It's a Deathmatch-like script. I've left MTA for a couple months now so it has its missing things, not technically though, everything works fine with zero errors. I'm talking about the ideal part, such as, usage of money is limited, the ways to earn money is also. If you could add some features into it you'll be fine, I guess. About the code, it's not really "clean" as it was not the plan to publish it in the first place. But once you get used to it, you'll get the mechanism and make changes very easily. REQUIREMENTS -A MySQL server -A MTA server (obviously) -Changes in [Files]\[sacrum]\database\database.lua INSTALLATION -First things first, make sure you make your changes in mtaserver.conf I am providing and then add it on your server. -Grab a MySQL server and install [Files]\[sacrum]\lvdm_core\core.sql -Put your MySQL details into [Files]\[sacrum]\database\database.lua -You might wanna change [Files]\[sacrum]\lvdm_helpmanager\helpmanager_list.lua ABOUT I've started the project more than 1 year ago, with hope to enjoy it with some friends as we are more used to Deathmatches, not as in Race but with guns. Completed the gamemode and then I got busy with work so it went downhill real quick. It has its potentials if you take care of the server and do what needs to be done. GAMEMODE -Gameplay: There are 7 classes in the gamemode, selected after you register. Each and every class has its own ability which can be activated by the player. For instance, a player in sniper class can go stealth mode and gain invisibility. Weapons are also given by the player's class. Although you can get more weapons after you kill a player and collecting their weapons. Of course, there is a weapon list and you need to add your desired weapons on there to be able to collect them. You can organize your list at Emmet's place. (the brown colt45 icon) -Bases: There are a few gang bases which are capturable by gangs. So that the competetion goes in right direction. A base gives you opportunity to buy weapons inside, be more secure, gain loot every hour. Loot can only be collected by the owner of the clan. -Making Money: Missions; Black Export: Find the wanted vehicle and deliver it to the truck blip. Assassinations: Kill the wanted player., Crack the safe: Find the safe's number to get all the money in it ('$' blip). Deathmatches. Hourly deathmatches. Get money and exp for killing ('D' blip). -Abilities: Abilities are passive buffs additionally selected by the player when reached to certain level. You can choose/manage your abilities at 'Z' blip. Every column on the abilities list needs a certain level limit to unlock. -Housing: You can buy houses around the map and spawn in them. To toggle spawn blips press 'o'. Why will some one pay you for just mod? That too by ban,kick etc..skills? Its not good idea mostly all pay for developers because dev help server by scripting new resources which help players to attract and have a nice gameplay and fun ! No one will pay for moderator ,smod and admin try to be a developer then post about your skills then you will get paid !1 point

The second parameter doesn't return the ban pointer(which is given by the first parameter), but the responsibleElement. YET, this is not the reason why it doesn't work. The reason is most likely: Missing ACL rights Give the resource admin rights and try again.1 point

Hello everyone, Nerd Gaming is a gamemode that I started making over a year ago with one of my good buddies Chronic. Soon after the launch in August, neither one of us had time to manage the server, due to school and work. A month after the launch, we decided to close it, so the gamemode became useless for me to just have for myself, because I wasn't going to use it. A couple months had passed, so I decided that I would release the gamemode. I released the gamemode, with the original version of 1.0, which was very unstable and full of bugs. A couple months after I released it to GitHub and the MTA community, I started to support frequent updates for the gamemode, which brings us today! I think it's pointless to discuss this, it's been brought up many times before and LUA is powerful enough for something like MTA. It's far too heavily implemented to change it into another language, would take a bigger development team to take it all apart and swap languages and can bring a long time of instability and alpha testing. You guys forget it's more complicated than just swapping the lua lib/dependencies, MTA was designed with using LUA in mind so much of the codebase was made reliant on it, by integrating LUA-specific stuff as deep as in the MTA core. It's practically impossible to revert all of that.. Also it's clear you guys who are discussing in this topic don't have a development spirit (in broader meaning) because if you understood development is 60% planning/researching and 40% coding itself, you'd realise its technically impossible to change the scripting language at this point in MTA development, it's too late. Ofcourse nothing is impossible as you've seen with other big integrations in the past, but as LUA suffices in most needs for MTA (you always have languages believed to be better such as what you suggest here, but as I said before, LUA is a powerful enough lang for MTA) so this versus the big operation/manpower needed to swap languages simply isn't worth it. Other languages don't offer much that LUA for our purposes cannot achieve, so nothing can justify the big codebase overhaul this would be. To conclude what I just wrote, topics like this, are just like topics asking if MTA:V will ever get released, discussions that keep getting launched over and over. So this will be locked.1 point

Back in the past there was a website that could convert maps created with the official in game map editor to a corresponding Lua script. Unfortunately tho that website appears to be down by now, so I've created my own converter using some regular expressions to find properties in a map file and generate a corresponding Lua script. Here's how it looks: So why would you convert your maps to Lua then? well there are many reasons, for instance: Reduce file size, converted Lua files is around 20% the size of it's corresponding map file. Ability to use the local cache, obviously a good thing since players won't have to download your maps every time they connect. Easy to customize, only one line needs to be changed to make all objects double sided, breakable etc.. (optional) Attach a discrete blip to each map object so that players can see where custom mappings exist. Since it uses regular expressions it will try to convert any input, no matter if the syntax is right or wrong. All properties from your map files are supported including, position (x,y,z), rotation (x,y,z), interior, dimension, breakable objects, double sided objects, blips and removal of world objects. The site is encrypted with SSL/TLS and nothing is logged or saved to prevent anyone from stealing your valuable maps. Here's the link to the site: https://lua.wuss.pw/1 point

Exactly, I used to be dev in a server that we used to use a map converter, I realized that with ~20 players online I had more lag than with ~600 players in CIT, this is something that everyone in MTA must know, creating alot of maps using Lua code brings enormous lag it's just a CPU killer. Personally I think it's ok creating that kind of map converters but be aware of the consequences, alot of people is not, due lack of experience or they just don't have maps with +5000 objects. And I'm not talking in vain or just with conjetures, I'm talking from my own personal experience.1 point

Any ideas why .lua maps would be more laggy than regular .map maps? I think that depends on which properties are included in the conversation. This tool tries to detect as many properties as possible unlike the other converters. Thanks to xeon17 I found some more properties that I don't have in my own maps which I initially tested with such as LOD objects, collisions, and radius. Anyway, if the conversation is 100% accurate and the same mechanism is used to render the maps no matter if the source is .lua or .map it shouldn't be any difference. If .lua maps does get more laggy than .map maps then I might as well create a map minimize tools which compress and removes default values.1 point

One issue with this general logic, although it may be smaller; it is actually a lot more laggy to using .lua mapping vs .map mapping.1 point
