Guest
omg this is taking ages, i hope they realease it soon...hopefully weekend, the least they could do is tell us a release date rather than keep us in suspense Link to comment
=Phil=
The suspense is cool, especially if you look at the latest updates like being able to make your own maps. At least we know it's sometime soon. Link to comment
Deathspike
Damn, it has been definitly too long ago since i last checked back here. How's the progress going anyway (get me updated since my last post lol)? Im sure youre working as much as you can.. and want too . What language would the sdk be in, c++, ansi-c or whatever all those names. I've studied C++ since my last post so when .. and if you release youre SDK thingy i'd prolly be able to get this thing rolling.. offcourse, when and if . Some great idea's have been posted here and im very much looking forward to the release gg (good game) guys! - Spike Link to comment
So'lide
The SDK will be C++, as said previously in the forums somewhere. Please keep an eye on http://www.mtavc.com/blog and for information about blue in http://www.mtablue.info - and eat pies of course. Link to comment
Guest
sounds very nice now im gonna learn c++ so i can help out what are some good online resources or books on it? Link to comment
Shadowsniper
Im a n00b at editing, but even so c++ isn't something you can learn quickly, it takes time, so much time it can be taken in university/college as work EDIT- This is a good extensive tutorial http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial.html Link to comment
xGj
You could get a book out of the library to learn c++ ( although it still would take years to learn ) or check out this sites : http://www.cplusplus.com More advanced shit: http://www.cs.wustl.edu/~schmidt/C++/ or http://cplus.about.com/od/beginnerctuto ... lustut.htm Good luck. Deathspike
Learn as you go along, thats my idea anyway, just starting modding at first, in other words, have a fully functional code which you are going to understand and edit. http://www.cplusplus.com, is indeed an excellent site to get to know the most basics of functions.. and above all .. think logical.
