Guest
When my mate and I play vice city through our network to an internet server we get all sorts of problems from him seeing people trying to kill me and me not being able to see them to cars being in different places. Is this because we have the same IP address or is this a normal experience during play. I am sure we never used to have this problem when we had seperate IP addresses. If it is, can we fix it besides me finding somewhere else to live? Link to comment
MrJax
It's all part of wonderful 0.5 - you'll have to get used to it Link to comment
Jani
you dont have the same local ip, only internet ip, and internet ip does not matter when your playing a LAN game. your lan ip is probably something like 172.0.0.1 and his could be 172.0.0.2 or so, its manually configured. Link to comment

Guest
Because I test running the MTA server in 2 difference environtments The LAN and The Internet When I ran on LAN everythings fine because each machine got it local IP then I try the Internet server (I can mornitor the log because it my test server) it report same IP for two difference player name and ID so what happen... Thing that happen is when 2 players login they never meet each other due to playing on the same map.. Any ideas? Link to comment
