I'm not that good (or any good at all) in MTA:mA, so i would like to ask 1 question. What is the difference between blacklist and ban?

ban means it just adds that persons IP to a list, and if someone tries to join from that IP then it will reject them because that ip is banned.

blacklist however, does the same as ban, but in addition it adds the banned persons name to a list and if anyone tries to join under that name, it automatically bans them.

Ban is per server IP-ban.

Blacklist is global MTA:mA-servers IP-ban.

I don't think you can claim blacklist is always global, there could be server specific black lists...

yeah lets clarify:

There is MTA:mA blacklist: IP which joins which has MTA:mA on and that IP is in the MTA:mA blacklist will be banned instantly.

MTA:mA:GRS blacklist: Not only an IP ban on THAT MTA server, but also bans that name on sight again on THAT MTA server.
