Guest Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Hey, I've been reading this forum for a while now and people have been making movies from gta3 and posting them. I was wondering how you do this? I've tried like 4 different programs (camtasia, hypercam, and a few more) and all of them seem to lag gta3 too much to record anything. I know my computer's not too slow to record the stuff (amd xp 2600+ running at 2140 mhz) so what program and codec do you use to record the videos? I would really appreciate an answer
Mark Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Well, if it lags gameplay, you might want to use the game's "Replay" feature to save what you want to show and then record video of the replay.
TheSlayerOfGod Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 You might just have a slow computer. I have a 1.1 AMD with a Geforce4 Ti and I can record just fine
TheBigJ Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 A couple things, bump your res down to as low as it will go, because not only does that save proceessing, but making a movie with a res of 1280x what ever takes a lot of memory. Also, record at 25 fps if possible. I have a p4 1.5 with 256 ram, and a geforece 3 and can record using fraps, with good quality tunr out.
ArtiGamer Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 you can make movies if you have a pc camera but you can make pic by pressing on "print screen"
