I agree.. encrypted messages would most likely stop those god-awful bots, depending on how random/encypted the encryption actually is.

All encryption is crackable. You'd have to live to about a million to crack 128-bit though, but that would take up too much bandwidth and CPU power.

I agree with Jon, encrypting makes double work for the pc

hmmm... i dont think that encryption on JUST the password transfer packets would increase comp CPU usage overall much or on the server much.. and the bandwidth would depend on the type(s) of encryption used.

Hazj misunderstood me. When I was talking about high bandwidth and CPU usage, I was referring specifically to 128-bit encryption.
