The server should run fine on 9x. Its not 16 bit anyway. Try redownloading maybe the file is corrupt.

the window says 16-bit. are you trying to run this app from Windows 95/98? or maybe 3.11 even?? :P

this app works under XP/2000 only.

I have XP.

This is a comon prob on windows XP, 2000, and any OS functioning through the autoexe.nt file, a device in your system32 folder has become buggy, just from normal use, there should be a clean version of the damaged file in your WINNT\REPAIR folder.

My autoexec.nt file (XP Pro) contains the following (useful) stuff:

@echo off
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\mscdexnt.exe
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\redir
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 P330 T3

Windows 3.1 was 16 bit... It says that because its having issues with the part of windows that allows 16 bit programs to run.
