Avatar ain't not working, gaa hic

I reckon that I get them thar following messages when tryen to upload ma GIF avatar image---

Filetype must be .jpg .gif .png

What am I doing wrong? I tried uploading it from my pc, and from my web site (url) nothing is working! arrrrrrrg! The file is under 60k and under 100x100 size.

That bug has been there all the time since the upload to forum arrived :\

but anyways off site link put the image in the forum database, and I think its supposed to be 90 x 90

according to what the profile thingy says, it needs to be 100x100 or less in hieght and width.

I R confused. I have a really cool avatar to show off too.

I hosted this file at my site, in a pictures section and tried to upload from there,,, still get the same message-

file must be .jpg .gif or .png

First try renaming to .gif rather than .GIF just in case the addon is case sensitive. If that doesnt work thensimply convert to jpg.

Well mr bump, I checked the file, it is just .gif not caps or anything. I tried several things, and tried a jpg even today.

It just keeps bringing up that screen saying (filetype must be .jgp .gif .png)

make sure you type in the filename correctly. Best way to do it is by browsing to it, rightclicking on it and selecting "copy image location" and then paste the content of your clipboard in the text area.
