Some Ideas I had for blue that would increase My love for it: 1: Make Number of Characters in names 16 letters long. 2: Maybe add/edit a few areas in the game for advanced Game play, such as; add a few rooms in the MK Hotel at the top of the stairs and contine the stairs all the way to the top (add a door to the roof) That way, you dont have to hack to get up there . A lot of my friends and I have been chating and think that it would greaten the gameplay becuase you could hold Turf wars better (places to hide, hold, ect.) 3: Add dif. game types such as: DeathMatch, CTF (maybe its a weapon like a bat, or a car of some sort), Jugganut, Team Deathmatch, King of the hill... and so on. Would love to see KOTH and CTF - CTF would probably need only 2 teams. like Cops Robbers or something 4: Any chance of a complete Custom Character (that you make your self when you reg. an account. (like hair color, face, torso, legs) - this is just a question, becuase it would half destroy the game - as in it would be harder to tell who is on whos team, and I dont think you could get that advanced? I will think of some more, But I really like to see 1,2 and 3 in Blue -remember I am a newb on this subject. Link to comment

(maybe later?) 3: Scripts gives you gamemodes, but I would also like to see real programmed gamemodes. With blips and whateva you can mod with Blue. NOTE: GTA III won't use Blue technology in this first release, only VC. 4: Skins can be custom made but don't work with MTA, this was also discussed and because skins are in BMP they will need to be sent to all the players in the server, which tick of users with slow internet, and with bw limit. Just imagine 26 player with their won custom skin would take a hell of a long time to transfer. oh one more thing.. Welcome to the forums Link to comment

We haven't really thought about custom maps in blue, but I'm sure many game-modes will benefit from them considerably. Good work. We'll be releasing information on how mapping (and other moddifications) will work with blue nearer the release.eAi this is what spirred doubt in my mind at the first place but obviously he's saying that its coming with Blue Link to comment

You could get that advanced but as Scorp says sending BMP's is a bandwidth hog. Maybe make it so they are converted to PNG then zipped then transferred then unzipped and converted back to BMP to get it working. It wouldn't make it hard to see who is on who's team beacuse you have colored blips and you could make the player names colored for each team too. Link to comment

But yeah, Gang chatcters would be good:D Maybe cops should also Get an army look? And one last thing, do you guys have a way of anti hack? Becuase these hackers on the servers are starting to piss me off. Mihkel is one... I dont get way people hack, the game isnt that fun if you do.. (add it makes you look like an amature) sadly MTA has some cheaters that get around the crc check, luckily good servers have admins that can ban those sad individuals so if you see a person speed hack, unlimited hp etc. notify the admin so he can ban his ass! Guest Posted October 1, 2004 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Yeah the characters you play as I don't like them and they're layed out pretty sloppy (Diaz isn't even Mexican), would be good if you played as real gangs like the guy a few posts above me said. You could have Police / SWAT (spawn at Police station - with access to Police chopper, SWAT van and cop car) Cubans (spawn in Little Havana, a number of Hermes avaliable) Haitians (spawn at Haitian gang HQ - the place you blew up in-game, with some Voodoos and dirtbikes) Bikers (spawn at Greasy Chopper with some bikers out front) Cartel (Diaz's gang) (spawn at mansion with Admirals present) Streetwannabes (spawn on Prawn Island with Gang Burritos) Mafia (Forelli's mob of goons in the final missions) (spawn at Airport with Sentinel XS out front) Cooler gang wars would ensue with all the skins and gang cars in place. I know I have alot of fun in-game when I hook up with a few players and gang-up on people as we roll in a jet black Washinton, more focus on that would be cool. I would also like to see these game modes... Gang Wars (Team DM) Turf Wars (Capture area points and defend them) Capture The Drugs (Twist on capture the flag, drug runner runs around with a packet of coke, single or team) Link to comment

You can now play you favourite modifications, such as GTA: Liberty City. blue pushes the boundaries of mods by allowing you to write game modes and extra features, giving you full control over blue and vice city, all through C++.
