Combine Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 What are you planning to do within the next several months before you release blue?
Cray Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Many aspects are not yet complete, tweaked, synced perfect, etc.... We have released info on what we are pretty sure we can do (we have bits and pieces done), but nothing is 100% complete yet. Cray "Without doors. No boundries. No restrictions. An entire lifetime that comes down to this single frame of life."
<547>montana Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 if this comes off a spam to u guys then sry but if you only have quote "bits and peices done" those must be some pretty big peices to have it 60% done tony montana....dont know him? watch some fuckin scarface.....youll find some similarities between it and vc
Slothman Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 they are just padding their time, just like ever other game developer i bet sa could be released right now, but they wait for marketing or beurocratic bs to appease the suits. (for mta, i guess we are "the suits") Check out my recent work: ZDay - a zombie script Slothbot - an AI deathmatch bot my community profile (all my resources)

eAi Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 No. If we were to release now, we'd have a very unstable product thats not very "well rounded". Currently we're still adding and completing many of the features that are on the information page. I've just completed the main shooting code (its taken me 4 months, working like 6 hours a day) so thats a major thing out of the way. Theres still lots to do, such as optimising the netcode and completing much of the integration. eAi
orappa Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 And not fogetting testing. MTA:SA FAQ - Read this before asking questions. MTA:SA Troubleshooting - Read this first if you have problems.
StAnToN Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 Testing, so that you dont miss any major bugs i.e. the bandwidth bug in mta 0.4
eAi Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 The testing phase for blue will be much more thorough than it has been for previous versions. We'll be releasing information on how you can get involved soon, please don't ask. eAi
OpiuM. Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 you should have a mailing system like matrix online click me
OpiuM. Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 you fill in a form for the beta.. (how often would you play etc) (what are your specs) and make it a php form.... and make it a selective...open beta...or something lol.. basiclly the ppl you select to play can play for a few weeks (whenever they choose..duh) and submit bug pics/movies...thats how the matrix one works click me
Gunny Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 I wish I could play beta??? Like wheres the form send me a link?
eAi Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 We will be doing a large ammount of beta testing for blue to ensure the final product is as perfect as possible. We haven't decided how this will work yet. eAi
