Guest Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 I have a fresh install of Vice City and mta. First I had the weapons.dat problem, but I fixed that. Now I go to join a server, and I can connect sucessfully. I hit start game, and then the screen goes black for a second and my computer reboots. The last version of mta worked just fine, I dont know why it doest work now. Any ideas?

orappa Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Onboard graphics? *shudders* If you want to stop it rebooting, go to Start > Control Panel > System and click on the Advanced tab. Now click Settings under Startup and Recovery and deselect the box marked "Automatic restart". This is the most stupid "feature" of XP. MTA:SA FAQ - Read this before asking questions.
