Problems starting server

Can someone tell me how u can select gamemode with this program. (it configures servers but whenever i try the thing says i need to select gamemode)

That is really strange - I just downloaded the newest tool and tried it myself. I can't find any way to make the dropdown selectable.

No big deal though - just edit your mtaserver.cfg on the "gamemode" line. 1 is deathmatch, and 2 is stunt.

I didn't even know there was a program for this.

I did it all in Notepad...

i knew there is 1 but i dont use it cos im a pro at notepad :P

I only found out recently when I asked if it could be added :oops:

i dont think this is really so hard to open the config file with notepad

and there is all written what u must do, in fact u only need to edit:

name

max players

ports

pass

But surely with that attitude we'd still be using the command prompt to interface with the operating system (and I mean "popular" OS's like Windows, GUI-driven Linux variants and Mac OS).

Well, Windows was an improvement, and it was needed.

In this case, you don't need a program to do it for you... It's all right there in NotePad...
