Guest Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 Hi everybody! Sorry, I'm german and I don't understand english very well, therefore I have not found any same thread with my problem. Hope you can help me. Everytime when I want to play MTA:VC the game freezes when I'm in the player selection. I only hear an engine starts and then it freezes. What could this be? How can I fix that? I'm using the newest versions of MTA and have already copied all .gxt files into the mta directory, without the english.gxt Thanks for your help Best regards Travox
Dgtadude Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 Make sure the game language is set to english (dont know if this has changed , but just try it anyways)
eAi Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 It quite often appears to freeze at that point, try waiting up to 30 seconds, if it doesn't work then, tell us (make sure you're game version is correct as the person above says). eAi
Dgtadude Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 I dont know if it was just the time . but i noticed that after you die and go to select char menu again . wait a couple of sec , until u select the new char ur going to play with .. cause it seems to reduce the crash on char. menu ...
vass69 Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 well sometimes it is so that when u select a char then it takes 10-20sek to load up the game 1 time i took vcc and it loaded up 3min and over, then i got boored and restarted vc
Guest Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 try changing your game version to 1.1 or from 1.1 to 1.0 theres a setting in the client
