johny46
Not possible using the default functions, but this can be worked around using dx functions. See: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/DxDrawGifImage Link to comment

Dealman
It surprises me that this hasn't been added as a native function yet... It sure would allow for some neat menus or whatnot. Link to comment
Castillo
Maybe they'll add .gif image support for their own GUI in MTA 2.0. Link to comment
'LinKin
Doesn't castillo's script work with .gif images? Because when I split one animated gif using some online tool, it outputs each image as .gif extension. And the script says: Bad usage @dxDrawGifImage [Can't load file] If you try it with png images it works perfectly Link to comment
Castillo
No, it uses sprites ( separate image files ). Link to comment
'LinKin
I think you did not understand me properly. I split one animated gif into many separated .gif images (static images) by using this http://gifmaker.me/exploder/ It generates separated image files tmp-0.gif tmp-1.gif tmp-2.gif tmp-3.gif tmp-4.gif tmp-5.gif tmp-6.gif Link to comment
Castillo
Show me the dxDrawGifImage script you're using. Link to comment
myonlake
GIF files cannot be loaded into MTA. You have to convert them to PNG or JPEG or whatever else works. Link to comment
