newbinator
Fraps, it's an excellent program.. your fps will decrease alot in the game, but the movie will be just the same fps as always. http://www.fraps.com Link to comment
Keva
this has been discussed in many threads before try searching before you post thats wot its there for Link to comment
Iggy
but fraps only records a select corner of the game Link to comment
TheBigJ
Fraps records the entire game, you just have to drop the res to the minimum requirements. Link to comment
|Y|aNi}{
When I used fraps the video file was 140 mb for about 15 seconds and the screen was really not good quality and f*cked up.....I use CamStudio 2 to register screens it's a good and easy program!! Link to comment
me
methinks you set the fraps settings waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high... lower 'em (especially the FPS) and see if it's any better. Link to comment
|Y|aNi}{
No Fraps isn't good at all!! The quality of the image is really not good! And we don't even recognize the game... Link to comment
TheBigJ
For making movies, I consider fraps to be the best becuase it gives you the raw video footage, at the res u recorded it at. No codec or anything like that, so makeing VCD's and other stuff is simple. Although it does cost u hd sapce, I think it is worth it(then again I have two 120 gig HD's. Also, I have no trouble with my image quality. Link to comment
|Y|aNi}{
Ok....But when I triied it it was written ''Res'' on the corner and on the video it was written that too....And maybe it's the best prog for you because it's the conly one you know.....=P Link to comment
Robpol86
i think fraps totally kix ass. i set it to 30 fps and didnt mess w/ my settings in gta3 and when it was recording it did slow down a little but it was bearable. when i saw wat it recorded, it looked like there was no frame skip. its just a lil fast but i think i can slow it down w/ premire Link to comment
