-UtopiA- Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 The "Official Servers" web page needs to be updated as well. Has nothing to do with the current topic, but I figured it should be pointed out. It's a utopian society, didn't you know?
Harry Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I get a gzip/tar error. Rename the file from _taar.gz to .tar, and untar it without gzip... Then it works

Its not an "update" problem, its a "not there" problem. Recompile gcc or use redcrap, which the servers were compiled on. Make sure the file is in your path.. ;P I wrote a response to this same question but I dont know where it went..? ...to all those who have doubted me...come see me now... Guest Posted March 21, 2004 Posted March 21, 2004 I got a binary of gcc from the apt-get program, and I don't know how to recompile the binary.. do I have to download the source and start fresh? if so, is there a way I can do it without having to recompile?
