Kent747 Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 the reason why is because the memory addresses were hacked out using Windows XP, The XP kernel assigns memory addresses differently than the 9x kernel, so those addresses are not valid... Kent Kent Simon's Amazing Cross Language Hello World Program!! #include #define print printf#define caller void main(){#define ref }caller ;print ("Hello World!\n");ref;

-UtopiA- Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 Get windows XPit's 2004 now and 98 is out of date it's in the manual that it's for 2000/XP only I love Windows 98. Much better gaming performance. If it doesn't work in XP, it works in 98 and vise versa. I have both OS's on my PC with a partitioned hard drive.. It's convenient. It's a utopian society, didn't you know?
dystopia Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 lol only game i have had say it is not NT compatible was viper racing...and thats ok...because that game sucked haha. As per clocking goes, i've run everything faster on win 2k pro than on 98, right down to the launch time of internet explorer, but i know it's different for every machine. It makes you want to drink the sun
