Guest Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Does anybody use there ps2 pad when playing gta? im just having a go and the buttons are completely messed up, but i cant remember the original buttons, anybody know the correct buttons they can tell me? Cheers

Slothman Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 talk to sm about game controllers, most of them use em. I'm thinking about getting one, I need an analog control for helis/bikes (easier with controller, but im not dumping my keyboard for the world.)
dystopia Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 I use a ps2 converter for a bunch of games, but MTA/VC is not one of them, problem is the aiming...it sucks...big time, on the console it has auto-lockon for a reason lol.

BlaZe_UK Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 i use my ps2 pad with a usb converter and i just put the controlls to clasic. that sorts out the analog sticks. all you gotta do is edit the buttons

Nutz Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 I used a PS/2 adaptor and gamepad until the adaptor broke. I couldn't find another adaptor so I bought a logitech USB gamepad with analog sticks. The Logitech is almost identical to a genuine PS/2 gamepad and works great. There is no substitute for the analog sticks for running and flying.
