Anderl Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Your question would probably make more sense if it was "Which software do you recommend me for Lua scripting?". "[...] If you don’t love it, if you’re not having fun doing it, you don’t really love it, you’re going to give up." - Steve Jobs, 2007
GamerDeMTA Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 Your question would probably make more sense if it was "Which software do you recommend me for Lua scripting?". I saw that Notepad++ it's recommended by MTA Team in Wiki, also that Castillo uses Notepad++, so I wanted to see the people's opinion.
csiguusz Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I'm using 50p's Script Editor, if you are scripting for MTA, you should give it a try too. Owner of [HUN]Magyar Play Szerver 1.4, IP: 31.220.43.153:22003

xXMADEXx Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I use NotePad ++, because, it can help if you have missed an "end" or ")" The Ultimate Lua Tutorial! | MTA PHP SDK
csiguusz Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I use NotePad ++, because, it can help if you have missed an "end" or ")" The Script Editor does it too. There was some kind of plugin for notepad++ wich i used to check this, but it was a bit complicated, not so easy like in 50p's editor. Owner of [HUN]Magyar Play Szerver 1.4, IP: 31.220.43.153:22003
manve1 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I personally use notepad++ because you can get a plugin for MTA in it so you can see where you done some mistakes on function names. Looking for tutorials or information? check out: www.simpleask.co.uk
