Editing the Current Admin Panel

Hello, I would like to edit the current admin panel and add more features? by putting them in another tab? or editing a current tab?

is this possible? If so where do i edit it?

You would edit the resource admin in the folder [admin].

It's easier to make an own admin panel rather than editing the default one imo
