Ark Of Thought Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 Will this game play smooth for modem users? I want to play this mod really bad and I won't be getting cable for a few months. I hope it will run as smooth as it does on Unreal Tournament 2k3 (almost no lag)

Anyway if it lags I don't think your game will lag maybe only the others people will like...flash but no more lag than that...

Asbah Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 DSL rules, mine's not the fastest in the world but, there was a law passed that said phone companies could not alter the information you see on the internet, or censor certain parts (like bringing up their sponsors or people who pay them on search engines first, or possibly redirecting you do a site that will try to sell you something.) However this law doesn't apply to cable companies..... now i'm not implying that there is a large scale conspiracy on the part of cable internet providers to try to sell you more shitty software or something, but it gives me a little security knowing my internet can't be messed with on DSL.
