Guest Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 I'm trying to host a game, open the MTAClient and have this message: "Disconnected: Connection timed out. (Delay = 10 sec)" ¿What does it means and what can I do to solve it?
xhispage Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 just double click the server in ASE , and DONT DO ANYTHING. Dont click anything , dont click connect , just click START GAME if it becomes aivable. Or maby you got kicked. Xanni

Cray Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 If you are hosting the game locally (running your own server), type in localhost or the LAN IP instead of the Internet Address (Real IP). May work ...
xhispage Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 if that dpesnt work use 127.0.0.1 , its an local loopback adres to your own server. try opening ports 2003 and 2126 on your firewall and forward them on your router to you server pc.

When in ASE click new host in the toolbar , disable the private server option , and give it your IP.
