[->>CURLY<<-] Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 YES GOD IDEA AND THE GAME MUST NO HOW MUCH DAMAGE OR IT WOULD NOT NOW WHEN TO BLOW UP U COULD MAKE THE O METER DEPENDING ON COLOUR BLACK = PERFEKT YELLOW = OK ORANGE = FU*KED UP RED = BYBY
SM xenex Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Why black ??, Arent meters like this : green, yellow, orange, red.
stone-rhino Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Isn't the engine smoke a pretty good indicator in single player? If they could get that effect working there'd be no need for a seperate meter.
SM xenex Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 (edited) Ye thats a good idea there, nice idea stone-rhino Edited October 13, 2003 by Guest
[->>CURLY<<-] Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 no i like my idea betas it has a beter efect than smoke
SM xenex Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Of course you like your idea , duh its YOUR idea, but it doesnt matter iff you like it, its what most people lioke and what can be made in the game, and since the smoke is already in the game it would be easier to implement.
me Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 A purdy little damage meter would be nice while in a car... It'd be useful to know how badly your securivan is dinged up...
Sillyhed2000 Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 YES GOD IDEA AND THE GAME MUST NO HOW MUCH DAMAGE OR IT WOULD NOT NOW WHEN TO BLOW UPU COULD MAKE THE O METER DEPENDING ON COLOUR BLACK = PERFEKT YELLOW = OK ORANGE = FU*KED UP RED = BYBY STOP IT WITH THE CAPS ALREADY! (Yes, I know the irony of what I just said...) Anyway, I think that it's fine without a damage meter (as stone-rhino said, the smoke [or how much your car's dented up] is a fairly decent indication). I'd rather see a speed-o-meter - after all, whats the point of doing 147km/hr if you don't have the numbers to prove it?
Cerbera Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Isn't the engine smoke a pretty good indicator in single player? If they could get that effect working there'd be no need for a seperate meter. When I was playing TRX to show my radar mod and handling for the up-coming street racer mode, they had already added vehicle smoke to the SCM to indicate vehicle damage. So we can all expect that in the next release. The benefit of using smoke is that it won't get muddled up with the health bars of the driver and passengers inside each car.
