I do not agree, Rockstar has captured the controlling of helicopters most excellently. Yes, It takes some time to get used to, (like Gta3's Dodo) but it's well worth getting the hang of it. Remapping the keys is certainly useful. Link to comment

Pressing down on the forward key until you're at a 45 degree angle, and then letting go causes it to snap back almost instantly. Link to comment
