Phat Looser Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 I just checked out the 1.0.4 and I have the impression that there should be the possibility to deactivate single anticheat detections, like detection of health hacks, detection of bullets shot, etc. At the moment I am "banning" the cheaters, or those who do not give up cheating since they are going to die anyways, onto a h4xxm0de server which totally allows cheating. So, deactivating all the anticheat detections for this server would make a lot of sense.
robhol Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 And that aside, it would also be useful if there comes a better anticheat resource and we want to leave it up to that. MTA's hard-coded one doesn't really have much of an impressive history so far.
Phat Looser Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 Well, there should be basic server-side anticheat, in my eyes. Since the health is set serverside the normal trainers don't work any more, and thats finally a step in the right direction. Also, it can't be wrong to have weapons and ammo server side, too.
Scarface Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 The implementation of server-side physics would also help.
