sorry to bump this thread but i know the answer

this 'HD' Mod is not 3 gig, its a few mb and its called gta san andreas ENB series, it just ads extra shading, reflections and bloom effects so the game looks a lot better, no retexturing at all... allthough the mod didnt work for me.

Your probably on about 'San Andreas Retextured 3', which basically does what it says, it's a total remodelling of every single texture in GTA. I like it a lot myself, just I have lags when recording.

Also you might wanna check out ENBConfigurator for GTA San Andreas which is a new program with easy GUI's, functions, button, sliders and everything that ease the editing of enbseries.ini. It also comes with 'Autoconfig' feature which does what is says, it meters your GFX performance and compares it to an ini online and retrieves.
