server is online, but no one can enter?

so i made a server and opened all ports and stuff, but when my friend tries to enter it says ip timed out... im sure i did everything to put up the server right so im wondering what the problem is can somebody help me?

Could you please tell us which ports you opened so we can be sure too?

check if your ports are correctly forwarded using the PFPortChecker, in 9 of 10 cases the ports are not forwarded correctly. firewalls can also cause problems, shut it down for a moment and ask your friend to try again.

ooh ok but how do i change them properly? ive been trying for like 10 hours now non-stop changing the server thing and i just cant see what im doing wrong! ive changed my ip to static, entered the static ip into my router and set the port to both TCP and UDP, ive changed the ports in the config file, ive basically done everything the wiki tutorial told me to do. Tested like a hundred times... but, i cant find the ase thingy, its not in my router! i cant change it in any way and is nowhere listed or something. i am soooo confused if that program you told me about shows me the whole thing still is not working, ill go completely mad

okay so i checked with the port checker and indeed they are not open! how do i open them, what do i have to open and will it affect anything? sorry that i cant think for myself, you should understand i am quite frustrated and stressed and that all because i wanted to have fun with my friend in gta

ok still dont understand it, but look at my ports:

my http port is 22005

server port is 22004(because somehow 22003 doesn't work)

so ase port is 22127.

where do i have to fill in these things? what do i have to fill in?

You have anti-virus programs? Sure you do.... Try turning them off... Now try starting server again.

You shouldn't turn off antivirus programs. Firewalls are another matter entirely, although you shouldn't really disable them completely, either. Open the appropriate ports instead.

yes i've tried everything to get it workin but it doesnt, not a big problem, server can now be putted online through hamachi without to much problems anyway thx for the help

On your picture you haven't opened 22004 or whatever server port you're using.
