Map Editor, race maps.

Hey,

Is there any progress on the map editor.

Because you can't make race maps, and that's a bummer.

I can't find anything about it on the mantis site, so I just ask here.

Hope you guys know about this, and hope It's fixed soon.

It is possible to create race maps in the current Map Editor.

Creating maps for specific gamemodes

i think you must download the latest resource pack with included race resource which has its own edf-definition.

Then add 'race' in definitions menu and now you are able to create spawnpoints, pickups and checkpoints

Thanks, but I can't find it. When I create a pickup I still see all the normal pickups not the race ones.

And I can't find the spawnpoints either. The only thing I can find is a checkpoint. But I found that earlier too.
