skybon Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Try setting the permissions of inbound and outbound connections of MTASA to on. Also try to use some other firewall then Windows' one

MistaC Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 having the same issue here, but after a couple of seconds of waiting it tells me that the connection was lost to the server. I do not have any firewalls enabled.

I mean I know it can be cured, I was at my web design class today and it worked fine over there. I have a netgear WGR614v4 http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/wgr614v4.asp Packet size is set at 1492. Should it be 1500 instead? What am I missing here?
MistaC Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I changed the MTU size several times by following an online guide, nothing is working at all. not port forwarding or port triggering. just black screen and a text box.
50p Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I have the same problem, but I tried this: 1. Ran my own server 2. Connected to my server (127.0.0.1:port) 3. Logged in as an Adnin (/login ) 4. Ran "broph" recource using "Panel Admin" (by pressing 'p') Just after I started the recource I could normally walk, there were vehicles, blah blah blah. Then I started "battlefield69" recource stopped the "broph" and I could play the Battlefield69. I don't know what to do if you connect to a server that you aren't an Admin.
MistaC Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 it works because you connected locally over your network. I have my own MTA server running (OMG Shameless plug opportunity!!! VISIT MC STUDIOS CLASSIC DM WTF!) and I can play on it locally just fine. Can't play any other servers though.
Guest Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I have the same problem. Changed all MTU's (Router, NIC, PPPOE) but nothing worked. Hope we see dp2 soon and that this will be fixed as promised.

Any script that does fadeCamera ( true ) you can even start runcode and type "crun fadeCamera ( true )" and it should go away and you'll see sky. Although, you'll need a script that spawns you in some manner.
